So, today I went to Moe's for lunch with a group of friends. I got a soft shell taco with chicken, cheese, lettuce, salsa, and onions. All of their meals come with a side of chips, so I ate some of them. Chips and fried things have been a fear food of mine, so I was trying to challenge myself. Well, I couldn't stand it so I went online and looked up the nutrition facts and a side of chips has 375 cals and 20g of fat! I ate maybe half of that, but it seriously doesn't seem like there were enough chips to add up to that much! I know that the portion sizes aren't exact, but it eally looked like maybe 1-1.5 servings. Do you think they're just over-estimating on the site or do you think that is correct? I know it shouldn't matter (I'm in recovery from an ED), but I am just curious. Thanks!

i love moe's, their tofu tacos are amazing!
i always curious about the chip thing too, i would say that there is probably 1.5 servings (depending on how much they give you) but the calories and the amount they give you dont seem to add up to me either

I know they have measurment guides when they're making food. (If you peek over the glass, you can see it) but idk about the chips? I think they give a lot, usually? But they are deep fried, which is going to make a huge difference...

I found this article online about Moe's and a 'survival' guide on how to cut calories...pretty helpful, actually

Thanks! The article was really helpful. Next time I might try a taco or burrito "streaker style" lol! I almost got a salad, but now I'm glad I didn't! That is RIDICULOUS!!!!
