Mole scab mystery, someone help!

I have a mole next to my armpit, but down abit on the right. It was itching just then so I looked down and there was a white scab film over it, so, I picked it! Under it, was a lighter mole! I stared at it, then got severely pissed at the fact that this never happened to me before, or heard of it happening, so now I loathe this light little brown mark on my body! What a mystery.

Seriously, please, did this happen to anyone before?? I know I should see my doctor, but it doesn't have any of the "ABCD" characteristics! Blast.

Hi. I have had moles removed that I didn't like and I just had one removed that looked suspicious but turned out it was nothing. You are not supposed to pick at them though cause it can cause infection.

I love my beauty spots. I have three. One on my chest, one on my right hip, and one on my bahookie P: No history of skin cancer in the family either though if they ever get a bit funny, I speak to my doctor (as they are quite big beauty spots!)

This has happened to me, though, when I scratched one when it itched :\ It eventually just darkened again, so I would presume it's just a bit of skin coming off. Honestly, though, it's just a little mole :] If you are worried do speak to a doctor if just for reassurance, but as Hope says, don't pick them as it can infect them, and let it be otherwise.

I think you should keep an eye on it for the next few days and see what happens.  Hopefully, it'll heal itself and go away.  If not, I would visit a doctor.  It might sound paranoid, but it's better to be safe than sorry, right?

LOL, I have an appointment today. He's going to laugh at me though lol, it looks perfectly normal now, only lighter! I never picked the whole mole off *shudders ugh!* just the white filmy stuff. I can't find noone anywhere who had this happen to them. But there's one thing for certain.... that mole is now my new archenemy, I'm on to it that's for sure! *does a squinty glare at the mole"

I have had a mole completely scab and fall off but then it comes back later.. maybe it never went away but was too light to see.. anyways I went to have it checked and the doc didn't seem too concerned.. it happens every once in awhile to me as well.. i just make sure the moles looks okay like not abnormally shaped and such... but since you are going to the doctor just have him/her look at it to ease your mind ;)

Although, I did visit the doc. He said, allll is well. 

BUT, me and that little light mole are still rivals. That is inevitable, and will be an on going glaring battle! *glares once more and shakes fist*

Maybe the white film was just deoderant. You could have put a little too much on and sweat or something and then covered the mole and dried..
