What should I get my mom for Christmas?

I am horrible at Christmas shopping so that is why I am asking here for suggestions.

She is into oil painting, and I got her an easle a few years back and she uses it a lot.  I was surprised at that.  She also has a horse, and a pet wolf, so you can saw she is into horses and wolves.   I don't think that she needs any wall decorations, or things to go on a table, she breaks everything, so nothing fragile  hopefully, and nothing decorative.  She has enough decorative stuff. 

How about some oil paints or new canvases?

Something handmade - I made my mother a blanket a couple years ago and it's still a favorite.

Mother's ring?

Kitchen gadget like convection oven, rice steamer, etc. 

A mother daughter day - your treat - dinner, movie, pedicure, etc.

family photo session

Those are some really good ideas.  I like the family photo thing.  I plan to go up there for Christmas, maybe I can get a family photo thing with me, her, and her fience?  There was also a suggestion for a mother / daughter day out, that also sounds fun.

some new paint brushes.  does she have any other hobbies?  is she a film lover?  an avid tv watcher?

she has a wolf?  you might want to get her a gift certificate at a butcher so she can feed it =) that's got to be expensive.

I'm in your shoes myself, I've got all the gifts together except for something for my mom.

I like the ideas that have been brought forth so far by the posters before me but can't think of anything else.

A beer of the month club?  I would adore that as a gift.  A years subscrition to Netflix?
