This group is for mommies who are in the process of reclaiming their pre-baby beauty!  On page 6, you will find our Biggest Loser competition.  We are dividing into groups and gonna shed as many pounds as we can before May.

Just wanted to let you know, my husband laughed at me. Riotously. I was just brushing my teeth and doing my lunges and squats. Geezzz...

Well - I am down 1 pound for the week.  But I know it is barely there.  So I am back to normal this week.  Last week was a not so hot.  We had Thanksgiving, which I ate potatoes and I normally don't eat them as they are high in calories for a small portion.  Then my DH's Birthday was Friday so out to eat again.  Then Saturday we went to our friend's house for dinner - out to eat again.  YIKES!  They were not measurable places that are on CC either.  I don't mind eating out but I like the meals that are on here so I can enter my calories accurately.

Good luck with weigh ins!!  I am really loving this group!

 

I put on 1 pound on thanksgiving/the day after....I worked on that yesterday and the day before for a loss of like .4 pounds lol...so Im getting back down to my weight before thanksgiving but im still not there :(
CHALLENGE Week 11/26-12/3:

spend 5 minutes of your day (any time of day that works for you) doing sit-ups. I do them on commercial breaks in the evenings lol. lets get those mama tummies as firm as we can!
I am up 1 pound since last week...at least it's only 1 though. I wasn't able to work out while out of town last week and didn't watch my calories very well. Maybe I'll break into the 150s by next week. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

Side Note: After dieting like mad and seeing no results, aside from smaller gains, my doctor now has me taking Phentermine. So far, so good. ::knock on wood::

Children: I have 4, Dalton is 12, Cheyenne is 11, Blake is 8 and Emma is 3.

 I'll do my best to do sit ups, but I've been mostly senitary for almost 2 years now with my anxiety, so I have to work into working out slowly.

Hi minniemommy!  Its so good to come here and see all the positivity.  I didn't weigh in last week but I'm glad to be back and see the new challenges. 
Oh my gosh. I have had so much stress that I can't even begin to explain that things have fell completely apart the last couple weeks. On the silver lining side I have not cheated any (as usual when life turns upside down on me :( ) and not only met goal weight but over shot it. Now it seems I can't figure out how to maintain and to stop losing.....:( As I said in my original weight weigh in post I know I've we've all had worse problems than to figure out how to STOP losing weight...(LOL) so I won't complain about it but I guess even if my life is still tore up from top to bottom that I NEED to get back in here and read & set up on my maintence program. I love cc for the fact that no matter what weight "issue" your having they have so much to help u through it. :D

kudos shellbysmomma! I am up 1 pund from last week 166. But Hey it WAS Thanksgiving after all!  I will buckle down this week for sure. I am so excited btw. Hubby bought us both an early Christmas present, memberships to a gym! We really couldn't afford it, but I'm so happy for it!

I am staying still at 151.  But was up 1 pound and had to work relentlessly to get it off. I found it interesting that I had a couple days where I went over my calories and then I had to retrain my body to want less.  I kept feeling hungry. I was on some medication that I think contributed to that but now am off so hope it gets better from here.

It looks like many of us are in the same boat.  :)

Challenge Week 12/3-12/9-

Ok - so this week our goal is to have NO snackies, munchies, or dessert after dinner.  Eat your meal and when it is done, it is done.  Have a great week!

Not even a little bit? Just kidding LOL! I can handle that. 164.5 today. One more half pound and I will be at 25 lbs lost. I'm really excited!

Ack! I have been in a fog since Thanksgiving and can't seem to get out of it. No weight lost last week but I honestly haven't been trying as hard as I should. I don't know where my motivation is lately...
what happened to all my weights?? I went to update it (late for the week I know) but now all my weights to date are gone!

   Hello!  I'm new here and would love to join.  I got addicted to the food guide and didn't even consider the forums, but I think support is critical in weight loss!  My husband is trying to shed a few too, but he's faring better than I.  I gained 50 pounds for a 3# preemie baby girl. (bed rest and comfort food is a bad combination)  I have 7 pounds to go before reaching where I was before I was preggers with her (thanks in large part to the food guide...haven't eaten anything less than a B in nutrition and portion control) , and a bit of chunk I had left over from a few failed pregnancies. My ultimate goal is to be healthy.  I'm uncomfortable with my current size, but strangely more happy with who I am and less concerned about it than when I weighed 105 pounds (I can't even believe I thought I was fat!).
