It's sunny and chilly here.  I'm getting ready for the day - errands and then exercise, so, as usual, I won't be here much.  Hope everybody is having a good morning after a great weekend!

hey, Claielaine I was at home depot on the week-end as well.  I picked up some chicken wire to put over my tulips that I have yet to plant.  The squirrels seem to find them delicious.

had a good weekend, cool party saturday night. back to work today, tough :P

Squirrels are minions of evil. They won't tell you that. They APPEAR to be cute and fuzzy, but they're really minions of evil.

darn squirrels can decimate a tulip bed in no time flat.  chicken wire works.  Once they come up, I sprinkle them with cayenne pepper which I get from the Indian market in big jars.  The garden smells like a taco stand for a few days, but after just one snootful of hot pepper, the little furry beasts stay away.

my first song was swing - trace adkins. the crowd started yelling before i even opened my mouth, then a chick grabbed my sleeve on the way back to the table to tell me that i sounded just like trace. :D

yesterday, i rode down to lake norman. there's a place called vinnie's where they have a huge deck out back, with docks so in the summer people ride their boats and sea-doos right up and come in. some folks call it "hooters on the lake"

i caught most of the second half of the philly/jax game there, then rode home
