Monday check-ins and a question for everyone..
Hey! I'm Kristen! I'm having weekly weigh-ins on Monday. I figure that knowing I have to get on the scale Monday morning will help me do well over the weekend :) Anyone want to join? You can post weight loss instead of actual weight, that would work too, though we all seem to be in the same boat.
And here is my question: I know that I have a more solid core than the average girl, but how can I put this in perspective? I was really shocked to find that a girl with similar measurements as me weighs 180-something, while I weigh 230-something. My measurements are bust: 48, waist: 38, hips: 47. Anyone with similar measurements want to chime in?
I'm trying to determine my final goal weight. My personal best has been 170, and I wasn't skinny, I still had a little bit of a belly, but I looked and felt amazing. I'm 5'7 by the way, and 20 years old. I used to run distance and dance so.. sigh.. this is pretty woeful to report.

So, I really dont know which one is correct. It HAS to be BROKEN and I'm really pissed about that

Oh I hate that! My scale will do that sometimes too. But it's no problem :) Just do what you can, for you!
Yes I will be posting my week each monday. This Monday I weighed in at 115. That was my first weigh in.
Ok, I know its not Monday, but I'm always late!! I am at 226lbs. This is my Monday weigh in.
I think I have about 66lbs to go. Would like to get to 160lbs.
O.K. so my first day I CHEATED. I did good until after lunch then I had 7 Hershey's kisses and 2 cookies. I felt the need for something and I gave in. I NEED TO STOP DOING THIS! I am back on track and doing OK so far. No urges. I keep telling myself it is OK and today is another day and to forget yesterday. Thanks for listening. Good luck for the day to all!!
So I'm in for Monday weigh ins as well, although I won't be able to start until the 19th I think when i get back to school with a scale and the gym. I know their scale is off by about 10 pounds i heard but hopefully it'll motivate me a bit more. As of December 1st i was at 203 (the gym's scale) and at 34% body fat. I'm looking to get down to 140-150 so that i'll feel and look better for myself. I like having people to keep up to date with on here.
Hi, my Monday weight was 197 so I was up 3 lbs from the day before. I know I need to drop caffeine. I'm hooked.

I'm curious as to how you plan on losing 51-100 pounds if you're at 115.....

I did my first real weigh-in on Monday.. sorry it took a while to post.. I got a little mis-navigated on this site trying to find this thread.
Anywhoo! I clocked in at a whopping 207, which was nice since the last time I checked I was up closer to 215. But the 207 is where I am actually starting this fabulous journey! I feel pretty goo even though it's only been about 3 days.. someone already said they thought I looked trimmer.
I am watching what I eat pretty religiously and I am logging everything. In the past I have never been quite as strict, but it's helping me mentally... a lot!
Looking forward to weigh-in next week.. I hope it's not a total disappointment!
PS: heres the test... we always order out for Top Chef nights.. I gotta go light on the cheese and get steamed veggies instead of fries!! MOOO.
ok...I joined this site this past Monday, and the scale said...ugh..."get off, you are hurting me"...lol 186. I am 5'4" and my goal weight is about 130. Though right now, 180 sounds good. I am watching everything I eat, and logging it all.
I get up at 4am each day to exercise before I go to work. I figure its easier to get it over with early in the day. That way I can't think up a million excuses for not doing it.
I've never joined a site like this, and definately never shared with others. So hopefully I don't sound like a complete idiot here.
I am going to try this Monday thing. Last time I was at the doctor's office 2 weeks ago I weighed in at 182.6 and 5'4". I am using the calorie counter food log everyday and am on the ultimate frisbee team and running for excercise. I will try to check in every Monday. I am new at this too ![]()
I too would like to partipate in the Monday weigh ins. I just joined CC today, however I had to take my daughter to the doctor on Monday and my weight was 193. She didn't think she needed to stand on the scale - so I weighed us both to see what she weighed.
I will post on Mondays along with everyone else, and my goal weight is 140. I have a lot to lose, but I know I can do it! Thanks everyone!
Oh God! I'm sos cared of the weigh-in Monday! I've been doing everything the same and yet when I weighed myself this morning I was up a pound from Monday! What the hell?!
Yeah I would like to do monday weigh ins as well. I think my starting weight is 243. But I am not 100% sure as my scale shows different numbers everytime I get on. This one is the most consistant number. I am 6'4, 26 and a mother of 2. My bust is 44, waist 43.5 and hips 51. I used to be in great shape and wiehged in at 195, which is were I would like to be again. Keeping my fingers crossed! Having kids may be the greatest thing in the world but the hardest to recover from!
Hey everybody, So I'm so excited to begin this. I've struggled with my weight my entire life and just don't want to do it anymore. I want to be happy with the way I look for once in my life and have it stop hindering my life in the way that it has. So... this Monday will be the first day of the rest of my life (cliche I know but true nonetheless). Also, I have a wedding in May in Europe with family that hasn't seen me in a while so suprising them with a different me will definitely be an incredible experience. I'm hoping I can do it.

Okay...so Monday is here...
Be doing this for one week...and have lost 5.5 lbs.....
