Monday Morning Club

I have seen 50 billion clubs listed on here but have yet to see one for me.  Soooo, are there any of you out there in the over 200 club trying to loose at lease 80lbs.  I am 5'5 and a half and started at 230 I am currently after a month at 215.  Anyone with me????

im 5'9"ish and 286.2lbs. i started at 293. im working on getting to
190lbs, i know it sounds like still a heavy weight but i come from
large stock as well. german blood. big broad shoulders and a heavy
muscle structure (i didn't know that until i started working out and
the lady told me that i would probably look great around 200).  so
i have 96.2lbs to go! im chugging along...coming up on week 3 this
friday! 
she is probably right......there is a web site you can go to it is www/mvm.com/  you can put in your weight and height and it will give you a model of what you look like then put in the weight you would want to be and it shows you how you will looke.....it is awesome and actually i changed my goal from 135 to 150 after this.  Dont want to be to skinny lol....can believe that is a choice I will ever have.
Im 267 and my target at the mo is 210 so it's not quite losing 80 but if I find it going ok I may shift my goal

I am 5'5" and I am currently at 225 lbs.  I started here in June ( I changed my user name, so my profile reads as last week) The first 10 lbs came off easy.  I am struggling with the next 10. My goal is to be at 140 lbs.  Haven't seen that since 1993. 

Are you just trying to cut down on calories or do you have a diet plan?  I am happy if I come in under 2000, although I try to aim for 1600.  I am just trying to cut down on my portions, and use better food choices.  I used to be a bread junkie.  Anything between 2 slices of bread worked for me.  Last week I bought a loaf of bread, had 2 slices out of it, I think its going moldly.  I haven't had a slice since.

I am with you.  What should we call our club?

I am 5'6" and I am currently 197.  I started at 210.  My goal is 140. 

I am cutting down calories and upping protein.

I am keeping my calories under 1400 and sometimes find it hard to get that many as i have switched to mostly healthy foods.  No more fried foods except the occasional stolen frie from my kids.  I have decided to make this change even if I don't loose because I am big and my sons father is big and my son is already big.  I don't want my kids to have to fight the weight problem i have had to fight all my life.  I want to teach them how to eat right.  I just got to start exercising more and I think I will be on a roll and not just be able to roll. lol Anyway I don't know what we should call this club how about "The incredible shrinking club" or what about Now you see me Now you dont"  thats kind of long ok what about The lite Club?  You guys pick or suggest.  lol
ew and do you think we should weigh in every monday morning?
How about "The Monday Morning Club"?   We could post what we lost every Monday.  That way no one would be at a plateau, as a whole group we would have all lost weight.

Only an idea, let hear some more. 
Monday Morning Club sounds good or Monday Evening for me when I get in after work lol.

If I have support I know I can do this alot easier, im good if I have the motivation lol.
I am 5'8" currently at 228 but started at 280's, aiming for 165.  I think a club just for big girls would be great, I am tired of hearing about the last 5 pounds someone has to loose, sorry skinny people. Anyway weighing in on Monday's sounds great as I have had a problem with overeating on the Weekends and have set a goal to try to only let myself have one free meal a week so Monday weighing will hopefully help keep the weekend under control.
so the monday morning club it is........I tottally screwed up yesterday.  I had pizza for dinner which wasn't so bad but then my girl (going through some things) called me crying and I met her at the bar and ended up drinking 2 big ol beers and to tuaca bombs.....but you know what really makes me mad is that if I was gonna screw up one day then I would have rather bigged out on some chips and salsa and a mexican dinner rather than drinking beer.  *holds chin up high*  one day at a time..........baby steps. lol

Monday morning club sounds GREAT to me.  I am happy to be a part of the group :o)

I am 5'10" and current weight is 265.  My goal is 175.  I started at 275 at the beginning of the year, joined a gym and everything, then had some health issues (diagnosed with Lyme) and haven't been able to work out.  aaarrrggghhh  gained almost 10 pounds back.. but hey... now I've got a clean bill of health,  found this group and can start again.

I'm glad to be here with you all and look forward to getting to know each of you!
I  can not wait till  I have before and after pictures...what about you guys?
I just wanna walk up to a couple of people that in any argument keep going well your fat, So once I trim down im gonna point and just go "ive lost weight but your still a knob!" (Me childish never)

Yeah thats my other reply, It still amazes me that someone brings something so daft up in arguments but I guess everyone cant be as smart as we all are on here
As of tody I am 210 and 5'2", I have lost about 10 pounds since starting CC. I would love to be part of a group to help motivate and get motivation. I've been slacking...my bf says I am beautiful just the way I am. Ahhh, how sweet, I know, But I tell hime I don't feel beautiful this way. I am uncomfortable in my skin. I am starting to feel better, things fitting better, but I would like to be at 150-160 again. *sighs, remembering 150*
Let's have a big HUG for shanna!  This was a great idea.  Some days I was getting lost with the threads.  We all have our own ED's, but at this moment in my life I can not relate with someone that consumes less than 1200 calories a day.  That might be not be PC, but while I am struggling to not eat over 1800 calories, it is hard to read about " I only ate 800 calories today and I am not hungry."  I am always hungry!
Why does it seem that the people who only have 15 to lose total seem a touch more insensitive to those who have more to lose? That's the feeling I always get too - of course, I could just be being overly sensitive!

okay you guys......got a problem.....i threw away my scale last night....i forgot about weighing in on mondays.....anyway I will just have to go to moms on sunday night and then list it monday.  I did however by a tape measure and if the weight on the scale didn't scare the hell out of me the meaurements on the paper certainly did. lol
