i always weigh myself 1st thing monday mornings, AFTER going to the loo (that must account for a couple of oz!) and before eating, drinking or showering (wet hair weighs more than dry!! ;-D)

anyone else weigh in on mondays? shall we have a "monday weigh-in club" and report each monday how we're doing? might be a good idea to just reply to this topic each week to keep it all in one place rather than creating new topics each week? then we can all spur each other on!

last time i was trying to lose weight i started off by weighing in every friday, but found that weighing myself on mondays instead actually was an incentive to lay off the binges i'd usually do on a weekend, as the thought of braving the weights immediately after the weekend was enough to scare me from overeating!

so this is the start of my first week, so no loss to report yet, but my starting weight is 72kg / 158.8lbs, and we'll see how i did next week!

even though I've been under 270 actually for a while now, the scale I use at work (with clothes on and keys/cell phone/wallet etc.) was always about 6 lbs heavier than the one at home.

Finally it is under 270 though at work. 268 lbs. the scale at home says 262.2 though and I am using that number  for my RMR calculator.

When I started about a month and half ago, my goal was to lose 25 lbs by my 25th birthday (august 12th)

I'm 5 lbs from it now, with 5 weeks to go.
I think you generally need to weigh in the same fashion and on the same scale to get an accurate result.....

I weigh on monday mornings, ( gives me sunday to purge hehe), and before having breakfast, and after going to the loo herm herm.

last week 71.90 kgs = 158.18 lbs

this week 71.00 kgs = 156.52

I do weigh on the same scale. I just use two different ones each time to make sure each one is reading consistently.

I don't eat till I get to work, so in the morning before I get in the shower I weigh myself at home, and then at work the first thing I do is use the scale we have here (it's actually for shipments hehe)

but still I am consistent in the time of day, time of week, and scales that I use, I just use two.

the weight loss is what I'm more concerned with than the actual number. On both scales 20 lbs is the number I am up to.
another 2 lbs down this week, and I wasn't really doing things as planned this past week.

During the week I went out late every night and didn't get much sleep, and managed to go to the gym only 3 days. I kept my calories relatively low though, so that helped.

that is 22 total lbs down. 3 more by august 12th and I'll have reached my 25 by 25 goal. about 30 more to go to be where I want to be.

I can't believe living healthy is as easy as this. All you need is dedication
Late, but I want to record it anyway! I'm 137, down two pounds from last week, aparently. That seems miraculous to me. haha

This is a cool group. 

191 today.  That is a one pound loss
138.5 but i'm a compulsive when it comes to weighing myself throughout the day. It spasms from 140-138 but I clock in only my morning weights.
i wasn't at the office today, so i couldnt use the scale there, but i think according to the one at home i'm down another pound or two.

255 it read. that puts me under my august 12th goal woo hoo.

i gotta start working my abs harder, and im going to start running more instead of just biking. i have actually been kinda lazy but i think i got my metabolizm kicking again so it's pouring off me.
