i always weigh myself 1st thing monday mornings, AFTER going to the loo
(that must account for a couple of oz!) and before eating, drinking or
showering (wet hair weighs more than dry!! ;-D)
anyone else weigh in on mondays? shall we have a "monday weigh-in club" and report each monday how we're doing? might be a good idea to just reply to this topic each week to keep it all in one place rather than creating new topics each week? then we can all spur each other on!
last time i was trying to lose weight i started off by weighing in every friday, but found that weighing myself on mondays instead actually was an incentive to lay off the binges i'd usually do on a weekend, as the thought of braving the weights immediately after the weekend was enough to scare me from overeating!
so this is the start of my first week, so no loss to report yet, but my starting weight is 72kg / 158.8lbs, and we'll see how i did next week!

Good Morning from Spokane - I'm down 1.5 lbs.....to 167. I'm satisfied with my progress this week, but sometimes it seems easier to just go in and have it sucked off!! BBQ season is a killer for me.....way to much potato salad and ribs.

Great idea to give even more incentive. I also gave in to ribs on Sunday but had a grilled chicken quarter rather than a t-bone on Saturday. Still, today I am at 172, I lost 2 lbs last week. Yeah!!!
woo hoo! I down to 192 lbs!! or 194, depending which way i stand on the scale XD so i've either lost 2 lbs since last week, or 4 lbs. i'm still thinking 4lbs would be reasonable, due to the fact that i significantly hightened my protein intake, and lowered my sodium intake.

I lost 2 lbs - down to 130 again.....I actually gained about 6lbs when
I went on two consecutive vacations at the begining of the month.
Now I'm back to where I was before my sinnful trips and I can
start moving forward again. : )

Today's weight - 167.5 Down 2 pounds! wheeeeeee
I am 5'7" and this is my first monday weight in after one week of CC. I went from 223 to 117 doing my version of South Beach and calorie counting. Not bad , but I know this always wont be the case--just keep going one day at a time

I also always weigh first thing in the morning. I weigh daily because I am obsessive compulsive and need to see how I am doing...but I only make an official weigh-in once a week...:)

I will join the Monday Wiegh In Club too - I am new to CC (about 2 weeks now). I am down .50 this week to 242. When I started my lifestyle change (May 9th) I was at 260. I am glad I found this site and all the great information!
I really need to get me a scale again :P
All I can find is plain white, plain black, clear, or plastic as far as scales go. Anyone know where I can get a good quality scale that looks pretty good too.

Down 1/2 lb. to 137.5....was hoping it would be more.....but weekends my will power goes right down the toilet

Well it all is dependant on time of day. Saturday I weighed
133.4 (down 2lbs! woot!). Today I weighed 136.2.
WTF?! That's back way up again! Of course I know it's
impossible to actually gain that much in the course of only 2
days.
