i always weigh myself 1st thing monday mornings, AFTER going to the loo
(that must account for a couple of oz!) and before eating, drinking or
showering (wet hair weighs more than dry!! ;-D)
anyone else weigh in on mondays? shall we have a "monday weigh-in club" and report each monday how we're doing? might be a good idea to just reply to this topic each week to keep it all in one place rather than creating new topics each week? then we can all spur each other on!
last time i was trying to lose weight i started off by weighing in every friday, but found that weighing myself on mondays instead actually was an incentive to lay off the binges i'd usually do on a weekend, as the thought of braving the weights immediately after the weekend was enough to scare me from overeating!
so this is the start of my first week, so no loss to report yet, but my starting weight is 72kg / 158.8lbs, and we'll see how i did next week!

I normally post my weekly weight on the 160 Club thread but I'll join this one too. Currently at 162.5
This is alittle late...but on Monday I weighed in at 161, down 1 pound
I have to add I didn't get to weigh in till today since I don't have a scale but after only two weeks I have lost my first 5 lbs. I think I have 119 to go.
I'm weighing in one day early, cause I will be running errands all day tomorrow. Last week I was 163.6
Sunday morning I am 160.8 ... Lost almost 3 pounds!! I'm getting ready for my trip to Canada... Bought a few nice oufits size 10 yesterday. I dropped 8 sizes since the start of my weight loss . :)

I need to get back on track. Will start weighing myself each Monday but this week I will be out of town. Today 212.5 started at 240 on 2-1-06. Have floated between 205 and 213 since June.
Stayed the same this week, 167....better than gaining I guess, but I really need to buckle down. Weekend political events are doing me in....way too much food and temptation. But as they say..."today is the first day of the rest of my life"....so I am back on the 'ol healthy eating horse!

Trying real hard. I weighed in at 170 lbs this week. I am a bit discouraged. I am trying to stay under 1200 calories and burn anywhere from 200 to 270 in exerise. Why is it coming off so slow? I started at 175 in the first week of August. I know I am doing the right thing, but it seems so slow.

I started calorie counting last Saturday and weighed this morning ~ for the first time in a year (at least).
I weighed in this morning at 137. My goal is 120 - 125 lbs.

I also usually weigh in on Mondays, but I didn't have time this morning. I would like to post here for motivation though and so I will join you and post tomorrow morning.
Still plugging! Went to 171 from 173 and that's with my cereal snacks. Of course those cereal snacks probably keep me from starvation mode :-)
154 this morning. :( I know it's mostly just water weight from all the sodium yesterday -- I ate maintenance Sat. and crummy on Sun. -- because I weighed on Friday morning when I knew the weekend was going to be rough. I was 152.8 then. It'll come off again, but it's still discouraging.

142! I did the same as fakeout (too much sodium) on Saturday I weighed 137 ....gotta stop the weekend thing. It erases all the hard work during the week.

157 as of this morning. That's pretty bad since i'm 5'2". But you have to start some where.

A bit disappointing since I worked out pretty hard and did rather good with my diet. Clothes look and feel better on though so that's encouraging.

Personally, after a week of crummy eating, I was happy to weigh in at 151.5 today.
