Monday Weigh-in Group
I figured I would start a new Monday weigh-in group (I actually couldn't find any...but I'm sure they're out there). For all those people who weigh in on Mondays, come here to share your progress, your setbacks, and find a buddy or two!
After gaining 15lbs in the past 3 months (ugh), I need to get back to working out and eating right like I used to! I want to get back on track before I start graduate school in July, so I can take those healthy habits with me into my new life! Anyway, today I am starting again. I have a new mindset: I don't hope to lose the weight or hope to become healthy. I AM going to lose the weight and I AM going to be healthy.

Hi everyone. I got off to a very slow start. Two tenths of a pound this week. I think I did really well controlling my calories and walking during the week, but I blew it over the weekend. I will plan to do better next weekend.

Hello everyone!
I behaved yesterday and came up to 1411 Calories for the day, which is right around perfect, considering I am continuing a fairly sedentary lifestyle until school ends. My last final exam will be May 11.
Anyways, I came up to 173.2 today.
Last week (04.27): 175.4
This week (04.04): 173.2
2.2 pounds is a good start but I hate to dismiss it as water weight. I'm expecting from here on out to get 1 - 1.5 pounds per week.

Hope you don't mind a new person joining in your group. I have been thinking a lot and did a lot of research on groups on line and this one seems to be the best fit. Here is a short history, So this weekend I have decided to have a new life change since hitting 50. My goal is to lose 50 lbs in a year, the reason for the year is to slowly change my lifestyle and eating habbits, not to mention I have a disablility that makes exercising hard at times. But I have decided that I can learn to live without an extra pound a week. So here I go.

i managed to go a whole week without weighing myself!! I was getting so anxious. I was 170 last week (start) and am now 167.5lb. I've already done horrible today with everything. school is getting crazy during the last week!! I'm very very excited for summer and to have more time to myself to make healthy dinners and work out! I think i'm finally accepting the SLOW weight loss thing. I use to get discouraged but this website it a ton of help!!

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've said "I'll start dieting on Monday..." But today is my Monday. My starting weight is 217 lbs. My goal weight is 150 lbs. My short term goal is to lose 5 lbs. My ultimate goal is to be at goal weight by June 2010 for my oldest dd's wedding. See ya next Monday.

Hi everyone. This is the first group I've joined. I need help staying accountable, and telling y'all my weight every Monday I think is a great place to start! Had a good week and only felt hungry once but that was my fault. Ate everything I love but in moderation, exercised and lost weight. The motivation was coming here today and being accountable. So here I go.

This week was pretty horrible for me. I had graduation festivities and I found out I have hypothyroidism. Food and me were not friends this past week, and neither were me and exercising. I am glad, however, that I managed to lose something amongst all the chaos, and that I didn't gain with all of my binges.
Hey, I don't remember if I weighed in this last week, but I'm still sick with whatever, but they found out that I'm losing blood and they don't know why. Not on my period - haven't gotten a period in 14 months! But since I've had pains mimicking gallbladder attacks, they are checking if there's an ulcer or something developing there.
I've been trying to eat well, with fruits and vegetables, and a low fat diet. The extent of my exercise has been moving into an apartment (yikes!). I'm overtired and will be in bed shortly.
Since it's already friday I'm not going to weigh in until Monday.
