Monday Weigh-in Group
I figured I would start a new Monday weigh-in group (I actually couldn't find any...but I'm sure they're out there). For all those people who weigh in on Mondays, come here to share your progress, your setbacks, and find a buddy or two!
After gaining 15lbs in the past 3 months (ugh), I need to get back to working out and eating right like I used to! I want to get back on track before I start graduate school in July, so I can take those healthy habits with me into my new life! Anyway, today I am starting again. I have a new mindset: I don't hope to lose the weight or hope to become healthy. I AM going to lose the weight and I AM going to be healthy.

Hi everybody , here I'm again, I think that actually had a lot of water last week, well now I'm where I stared 3 weeks, this is going to be my 4 week, and I think is a huge progress for me, because I have kept myself on tracks even thought I had many downs situation ( dining out) but overall adding all my days I have been eating a lot less that normally would do, or better say, not only less but healthier foods, also I have add some activity so I'm very happy and excited to start seeing some new and improve result for next Monday.

I lost the first 7lbs fast but the last two weeks I've only lost 3lbs. I did attend our annual Brewfest this last weekend and managed to gain 5lbs from that event. Damn beer! But other than that I've been working literally twice as hard these last couple of weeks. I think someones working against me. LOL! ![]()

Starting this weeks weigh in, I was worried about this week since this weekend has been crazy and have eaten out a lot. But I kept remembering that to keep things in moderation and I lost 1.5 pounds. So in three weeks I have lost 5 lbs :-) and still eat everything I use to, just smaller portions. 50 Begone :-)

I didn't weigh in last week as I was on vacation and was scared to! hehe. But I didn't do TOO badly as over the last 2 weeks I had a loss of 1.4 pounds. I'm a little disappointed it wasn't more, but I'm glad there was any loss at all since I ate quite poorly on vacation.

Hi there! Looks like everyone is making some sort of progress which is awesome. I worked my butt off this week and didn't get the results I had hoped for but I'm just thankful its a loss at all. It could always be worse and be a gain. UGH!
Week 1 (04/20/09) - 220 - I didn't really go at it very aggressively for the first couple original weeks.
Last week (05/18/09) - 215 = -5lbs
This week (05/25/09) - 213 = -2lbs
Goal weight - 170 = 43lbs to go!!
Goal Date - Website shows Oct 25th, 2009 but I'm hoping for at least a little sooner than that! ![]()
Hello everybody , sadly to say that I'm again in the same position that usually make me quit cc, a month on it and no progress! I have done a lot of cutting, some exercise and watch everything that I eat, but my big question is what else I need to do to lose some or even just one pound a week.

Hey! I see progress! 199 to 196 in a month? Be happy for those three pounds. You could be like me and have lost absolutely nothing despite doing everything as close to right as I can manage with a gastric illness. Be happy with what you got. You are doing just fine.

Thanks, I didn't want to sound ungrateful, is just that I have been @ 196 for over 6 years, sometimes I go up 3-4, but never below 193, so that's why I have been disappointed lately, but I'm still here and I will write everything down, this week.
5.25 - 136 lbs.
I would like to join too. I just gained 10 pounds in 2 and a 1/2 months :( I had lost about ten pounds for my wedding last summer, kept it off until recently. I have been stress eating again, worrying about unnecessary work-related issues and likely blown things out of proportion. I am a perfectionist, and often I have let myself indulge, and thus thought - oh well, since I made a mistake once, I might as well keep going! Sound familiar?!! Anyways, I just visited w/ a nutritionist last week and am starting to journal in iGoogle too. I hope this helps (in addition to posting to the Monday forum!). Thanks for the open responses - they're great to read. It is nice to not feel so alone.

I've been in search of a new scale. Mine just isn't very reliable. :-( Stayed at a friend's this weekend and it said I was 4 pounds less than my scale. Sheesh!

GRRRRR!!!!!! I'm so annoyed! It's really depressing to gain (even when it's only half a pound) when you know you've done everything "right". I really thought I had a GREAT week! I ran my first 5k this week, quite an accomplishment considering I couldn't run 2 blocks on my start date up there. I ran an additional day (to my usual routine) this week as well, had a great yoga class and walked for an hour and a half yesterday. I went over my usual calories by 400 for the entire week, which should have been MORE than compensated for by the extra running and walking.
Deep down I know it's got to be water weight (and looking at my weight log, it fits my monthly cycle). But it's still like a slap in the face.
