so jealous. i need 2.5 hours of speediness since i had to leave early yesterday!

found a pretty saddle that is affordable. There's good news. I was bracing myself to spend $800 on a new one.

Yayyy for affordable saddle!  I bought my dressage saddle used.  A Stubben.  Got it for $300, down from $2,499.

woo for new saddle :)  my dream is to own a horse one day!

This one is a JT International Newport saddle, i like the cutback feature since Orion is a Thoroughbred and therefore has high withers. I think it'll fit him nicely and be more comfortable than the lesson saddle we have been using. My leg slides too much in it and i end up bumping him when we go over jumps.

If I had my way thought i'd be buying a used County saddle for $700. **sigh** those saddles are heaven and they last FOREVER.

My horse had high withers too but for some reason a medium tree fit him best.  Was weird.

I miss riding!
