9 month old baby girl, but gaining!
I don't understand if I've just given up on the whole dieting thing or what...I joined WW a couple of years ago lost a bit of weight( 35 pounds) , got pregnant and didn't gain much but I was already overweight. I weighed 256 when I gave birth and only a month later I was down to 220...but then the scale reversed? I breastfeed and I'm always starving....I'm trying to count calories but the hunger pangs end up winning the battle. I weigh 242 NOW...I'm so ashamed of it! She is my 3rd child, so I'm not new to the whole parenting thing, but I've never breastfed this long. My mom threw it up once, that when she breastfed she lost tons of weight, especially in her stomach..., that made it better

I'm sorry, I just don't know what to do anymore....I've tried ALL the diets and find myself falling off because of the restricted foods or calories....I NEED to do this for myself!!!

I hear ya! Try this for the hunger pangs that sneak up out of nowhere. Eat small meals frequently through out the day. Like a bowl of ceral with fat free milk, maybe half of a toasted cheese sandwich with mustard. A cup of yogurt with some dried fruit and nuts ( if you're not allergic). I use the fist rule. If the portion is larger/ thicker than my clenched fist, I put some back until its the right size.
I'm sorry to say, but in order to loose weight you have to cut back on cals and increase activity level. That is the only SURE fire way to loose weight. It takes constant tweaking and refining over the course of the diet, but it can be done.
My son just turned 11 months, and I gaind around 55 pounds with him. I only have the last stubborn 10lbs to go. There were hiccups along my diet ( Thanksgiving and relatives) but i got back on track. The most important advice I can give you is to think of each morning as a clean slate. Fresh and bright with no marks on it. If you had a bad calorie day, ( or week or month) then swipe it clean when you go to bed and wake up ready to try again.

TODAY is day 3 in a row, on track with my calories and I've worked out too ( all 3 days ) ! I know 3 days isn't much for some, but for me it's an achievement because I feel like I finally got the train back on track. I feel better, I've thrown out the whole "ALL OR NOTHING" attitude, if I HAVE to have something and I go over 50 calories or even 100, I won't beat myself up and binge, so I think I've finally got it YAY!
Your advice was very good, especially the fist size snack to fight the hunger pangs....thanks, I'll apply that....I also got my juicer out and started juicing...I love carrot and apple juice so that's the first thing I drink in the morning, right after my glass ( or two ) of water....
