5 months...

Quote  |  Reply

And I'm officially 30 pounds lighter!  I started at 5'7", 185, and am now 155 (I was so excited this morning I accidently put 150 on here, and now they won't let me change it til tomorrow LOL)! I have ten pounds to go, but I feel amazing today! I've dropped over a part size, and my confidence has grown exponentially. Just wanted to share a success story!

Congrats!!!

5 months to lose 30 pounds? That must be so exciting...

I'm 5'7 too. I have just started on my "weightloss journey" - started at 163, am now 157 and am aiming for 130 by the end of this year. At the moment I am losing at a pretty fast rate, but I don't know how long that will last...the early days are always the easiest for me.

But anyway - congratulations again! Enjoy it. You give people like me hope.

Thank you!  I started out fast too...1.5-2 lbs. a week, now i'm at .5-1 a week, but that's plenty for me.  This way, my skin doesn't get too loose or anything.

awesome!  congrats!  I started at 185, it has been 1 month today, and I have offically lost 10 lbs, being at 175 today!  My goal is to be  155 by Dec for my wedding :)  How many calories do you eat every day?  I have the same stats as you...

Congrats to you too!  I eat between 1350-1600 calories a day, depending on my workouts.

Way to go, hun! Congrats on the amazing weight loss!!!!Smile

congratulations! I've just started so it's great to see someone losing so much in 5 months, it gives me hope that I will do as well.

Congrats! By the way, if you want to change the weight for today in your weight log, you just need to delete the wrong entry first before you try to add the correct one in.

I started at 178 and I'm now at 155 too! Congratulations!

oops, double post

 Hi appelmilk1

keep the good works girls

Congratulations for everyone who has great weight loss

God Bless

Congrats and keep it up!

Way to go Mabenner!  I'm 5'6" and started at 226.  As of today I am 156 and have lost 70 pounds.  My goal is 154 which will put me at a healthy bmi for the first time in ages.

How did you come upwith the goal weight of 145?  I'm not sure if I should reevaluate my ultimate weight goal.  I feel pretty good at this weight, but perhaps that is because I started out so heavy.

I'm currently wearing a size 6 pants.  Never thought in a million years that 1) I would be able to fit into a size 6 and 2) that being a size six is still considered overweight.  The good news, I'll only be classified as overweight until I lose two pounds!  Whoo hoo!

OMG Congrats!! At 145, I should be a size6/8 (right now i'm a 8/10), which is where I'd like to be. Also, in high school, I weighed 135, so this, 10 years after high school, is only 10 pounds more than I weighed then, which seems appropriate!  145 is also toward the middle of healthy, since I've just broken into the healthy BMI scale.

You have done such an amazing job, keep up the great work!

Congrats on the weight loss! I, too am trying to get to goal weight of 145....right now I am currently 165lbs I still have 20 to go!!!!

Hi! Sorry, I did not realise that you had replied to me.

Our goals are very similar! How long are you hoping it will take for you to lose 20 pounds? I am hoping that I have the patience to stick it out and actually get there. Hoping about 4-6 months...Let me know when you get close :)

Hi applemilk1, thanks so much for reply,

I know it takes patience to wait for so long but it took us a long time to put it on right? I was just thinking that it will take me as long as between 4-6 months  as you mentioned, at the moment my daughter is 5 months old I am nursing which makes me eat more healthy and drink more water, by the way I drink a little more than  a gallon a day ...and I am very glad I can because it was hard to get used to so much H2O :), How about you?

as far as calories intake is below 1500, and I trust in the Lord that everything will work
