My little girl is two months old now and I still have twenty pounds to lose in order to get to my pre pregnancy weight and 10 pounds more after that to get to my goal weight.  The good news is no stretch marks!  But now I afraid that when I lose weight the skin will sag because of the extra jelly that is now on my stomach.  It is not saggy now nor has it ever been but will it sag?

Does anyone know if there is any way to prevent sagging skin while trying to lose weight?

Main thing is not too lose to fast.  Take your time eat healthy and if you are nursing make sure you eat more then before(healthy food that is)

I had baby #2 almost a year ago and have no saggy skin (I gained 40 pounds this time, 70 the first pregnancy). And that was after my second c-section. The odds are in your favor, especially since you're still relatively young.

I agree with Spuckine: lose it at a reasonable pace and nursing really helps, too!

Just like everyone else - losing weight slowly helps give the skin time to shrink.  It is also healthier, and more sustainable.  Don't be in too much of a hurry.

No stretch marks??  My body screams with envy!  Wink

My daughter called them rainbows.  I'll stick with that!

OP - keep your skin moisturized, too - that might help.
