I am wondering how mood affects weight loss. I have an anxiety disorder so I am easily made nervous/anxious/etc. I have a big presentation for school today plus my cold/virus is still lingering making my stomach go NUTS!! I've managed to eat half of a container of yogurt and my half grinder (corned beef on a half roll, nothing else but meat and bread) but my body is so nervous that I'm shivering like I was cold which is making my stomach even more upset. The presentation is worth 1/3 of my grade (grad school) and if I don't pass the class with at least a B, I have to pay the military back the money they paid for this class; otherwise I'd be slightly less nervous, I used to be a teacher. But how is all this affecting my weight loss? I'm only trying to lose a little weight and it's mostly me trying to change my eating habits, but I already took a step backwards with what apparently ended up being just water weight from being sick, I don't want to step back further by going back on meds. Any suggestions on how mood affects calorie use? Any suggestions on how to release some tension besides yoga/mediation, I don't have time to do anything big before class.
