More defined abs?

Quote  |  Reply

Hey, I've been working out for about a month solid now, and I'm finally starting to see some tone and definition in my body. However, my abs still seem to have a lot of flab to them. Mainly, the lower part.

I do cardio five days a week, and ab-strengthening exercises as well. So, I'm just wondering if anyone has some suggestions for how to really tighten that area up. I was thinking about upping the time I spend on cardio (30-45 mins), but if there's a better way that doesn't involve running more, I'd love to hear it!

thanks

get rid of the fat... all that you can really do if you are already doing ab exercise, keep in mind how low of a BF% you need and what is healthy for a woman... sometimes its just not ment to be.

true, but I know it's possible. My abs used to be very defined, but I gained some college weight.

I think it's more of losing the fat, like you said.

Yeah, lose the excess fat first (ie. eat cleaner).  Incorporate different ab exercises (like planks), this site has tons: http://www.ab-core-and-stomach-exercises.com/ ab-workouts.html
