More egg business--hard-boiled?

Hi all,

I've read online that hard-boiled egg whites are only 17 calories each, so I've just been entering it in manually in my food log.  But the other egg white calorie counts on here seem higher.  The other online nutritional things I've visited don't seem all spam-riddled and crappy, so I'm just wondering if anyone else can clarify the egg white mystery for me.  How much for one hard-boiled egg white?

I log mine as 17 calories.

I just Googled a few websites, and they all said either 16 or 17.

Eggcellent--I just thought it was deliciously low in calories and wanted to make sure I wasn't cheating!

if you search egg white in calorie count it comes up with 16 calories, if you want to use that instead of entering it manually

just out of curiosity...do you boil the whole egg and then just not eat the yolk?  and is it because you don't like how hard-boiled yolk tastes or because you're afraid of the "health risks" of eating egg yolks?

I always wondered this to, I never eat the yolk its sooooo nasty!!!

Yeah I always eat the whole egg no matter how it's cooked.  I had an egg white omelet once because we had left over whites from 2 eggs (recipe called for just the raw yolks) and let me tell you, it was weak.  The yolk gives the taste of egg body and substance! :P
