I'm 5'4, 122 lbs. I reeaalllyy want to get to 110-115 but its soo hard.
Please don't tell me i'm already healthy, I know that.
I'm just not comfortable with myself. At all. I haven't been for 2 years.
I know I don't have a lot of fat because I sink when I try to float on top of the water (my teacher said the maximum amount of bodyfat for sinking is 12%)
I know I have some muscle. I just want to get this extra fat off.
How is it possible? I've tried eating less, and I excercise every day.
Am I eating too much? Will I not lose if I eat 1200-1500 a day?
I have a really small bone structure and this is my ultimate goal weight.
Good luck to everyone on the journey of weight loss
It feels sooo good afterwards :)
Hey :) First off, I'm in a similar situation as you. Except I'm 5'3" and currently weigh about 128/129 and I'm looking to get down to 125...120 I think is just not realistic for me lol.
Have you tried really upping your strength training? That will build muscle, thus increasing your metabolism slightly throughout the day, and have more of an impact that just cardio alone. However, be aware that if you do this, you may not lose weight, and you may gain 1 or 2 lbs from the muscle.
It's a thought to consider. Otherwise, you definitely are at a healthy weight currently, and if the tiny bit of remaining fat really won't budge...chalk it up to genetics :) Unfortunate I know, but better to realize it know and accept it than live your whole life trying to budge those last 5 lbs that refuse to leave!
:) Goodluck
I'm actually wondering if there is any way I can get rid of some...it thats possible
My mom was a skinny stick lol 5'7, 95 lbs
I'm a kid. Aren't I supposed to be small anyways?
I know everyones different, but everyone in my fam is small.
I don't really care if I lose weight, as long as my looks have changed
:)
i do 100+ cunches every day and i dont have a way to the gym or anything so i dont know what else to do.
over a short period of time , just by u cuting calories im sure u will get to ur goal weight.. drink alotta water, exercise
I think a good way to lose weight is to try and trick your metabolism by eating 1200 then after a little while eat like 1500.
Don't stop exercising though!
You're doing great. I know you can get there
:)
I just had a baby a month ago and i am 5'3 113 lbs.. My pre-pregnancy weight was 108... and i am working out like a dog, breast feeding and watching what i eat.. but it seems that i've hit a stand still... i do cardio 5x a week, week straining 3-4x and abs every day... i didnt have to work out this hard before, perhaps my body has changed.. hope not..plus i eat about 1200 calories a day.. and burn about 500 breast feeding and 500 exercising? but i am still not budging...
anyways, i hope you all are able to reach your goals, everyone has expectations of themsevles... if i never lose this last 5 lbs i'll survive...
Have you changed you excercising routine? Step it up a notch (incline on the treadmill) or try something else. Also, don't eat too little or else you may gain a lot if you start to eat at a normal rate.
This is what the trainer at the gym had told me, but I can't seem to get myself even under 127 and I'm 5'2."
Good luck! Hope you are successful!
Believe it or not, I'm starting to lose weight now but I eat more and I have been exercising a little less. I am actually 5'5, and for some reason I lost 2 lbs in the last couple of days and i'm 120 now. I think its okay, as long as I see some changes in my body. I guess I shouldnt worry too much about weight anymore because I saw my dad yesterday and he told me I looked really good and I shouldnt diet anymore. I just wish I could fit in a 0 again haha.
