More Before and After Pictures
I was babysitting some of my grandkids today and I took some pictures of the grandkids. When I was looking through them later, I saw one I took of me holding my youngest granddaughter and it completely shocked me. I look thin - really thin! I haven't looked thin since I was in my 20's. I just turned 54.
I know it's just my top half in the picture and where I need to loose the most weight is in my bottom. But still I was shocked. So I asked my husband to take some more pictures of me for CC.
I made some collages to document my weight loss journey so far. I just posted them to my gallery. It really motivates me to keep a photo journal. So I thought I would share my progress.
If you aren't taking pictures of your weight loss journey, I encourage you to do so. Even if you don't show anyone else, it will encourage you to see how far you have come when you feel like you aren't making much progress.

I also love the photo of your family...You are certainly blessed...
I hope you are not in the path of Ike...stay safe...
I had a mid-wife with my second son...OMG was the experience wonderful...She was so wonderful...I had a 9lb 7oz baby...with no cuts and no tears because she took the time to ensure that...

It is so funny you said that! I know this is "off topic" but I can't resist, take a look at this commercial for my practice (featuring four of my grandchildren, btw) and you will see why.
We were not in Ike's path. But thanks for the thoughts.

Congratulations! Your doing great! I know how you feel. I put on relatively new pants, only 4/5 months old and they can fall off me unless belted in place! My baby (28 yo daughter) has never seen me this thin. I gained my weight a year b4 she was born and never got down below ww goal of 168 in her lifetime!
We dodged Ike as well. Us in Fort Worth, Daughter in Austin. Wife came in from Atlanta w/o problems as well. We are truly blessed!
