can i have more serving of fruits if they replace my meals?
or is it too much sugar?
off topic-
i also ate sooo much fruit and vegies that im feel like im gonna explode. basically i feel a binge coming up, so i kinda just ate lots of fruit instead of reaching for the cookie jar. will this make me gain weight? i ate a light lunch(fage , mango with so pb and a larabar and a huge apple), and the some of the vegies and fruits were part of my dinner together with a salmon
Protein and fat become an issue..............both of which are essential for life, carbs are not. As far as volume goes my diet is mostly vegetables and fruit, but as far as calories go, they represent 900 of my 3500 calorie diet. As far a gaining weight eating mostly fruit and veg, I doubt it, or at least you would need to eat a mountain of food, unless of course you have the metabolism of a small snail.
You are probably hungry and though you may feel full/bloated with all the fruits and veggies alone they don't have enough lasting power or calories. Also your lunch is not enough and may be why you feel the urge to binge.Meals are protein/fat/carbs/produce. Can you work on more balanced meals and snacks?
the thing is that i totally lost my appetite for meat atm, and im totally addicted to fage, and i like having it for lunch and its really filling with pb, mangoes and a larabar.
i guess this is causing sugar cravings because after i typed this i succumbed to temptation and had cookies and cake. i had 2 tarts, 6 cookies and 1 huuuge slice of cake which is supposedly low fat. is this considered a binge?
Eat more at meals and you'll be less likely to overeat later. I don't know why you're worried about what is considered a binge or not. I think you just overate. Everybody goes overboard on the desserts now and then. I'm sure I've eaten that much in one sitting before I started counting calories. Try not to let it bug you, eat the rest of t he day normally, and start over tomorrow.
Also, fruit is not too much sugar because it's natural, healthy sugar. Stay away from the processed white sugar in sweets and candy and eat more protein and healthy fat at meals. Also don't forget veggies. They fill you as much as fruit but have less sugar.
"Binging" on fruit will 100% of the time be better than "binging" on cookies and cake. Yes, there is sugar in fruit, but there is far more sugar in cookies/cakes, and its not natural sugar - its highly processed white sugar most of the time. There are also a boat load of antioxidants and nutrients in fruits. So go for it!!
If you feel like you're truely hungry, then eat. If you don't then you will feel the need to binge, because your body is telling you that you are lacking in something (wether it be carbs/proteins/fat/nutrients/etc). Your ratios might be off as well. If you're on a high protein diet right now, this may be why you feel the way you do. Try upping your carbs.

For the OP, carbs are life, so you must be right.
