No More Starbucks: Join me?

Quote  |  Reply

If not now, when? There are an endless number of reasons why quitting Starbucks is a good idea (it's depleting my bank account, adding unnecessary calories, etc. I could say that it's because Starbucks is big and evil and ruining little coffee shops everywhere and using the tears of small overworked orphans instead of coffee grounds, but that's a load of crap.)

So I'm quitting Starbucks. Cold turkey. Who's with me? I'll even write some inspirational theme music and make us all matching sweatsuits! Ok, not really. But I do promise to log on every day and post about how much I miss my tall iced non-fat caramel macchiatos, and, you know, provide support for you guys, and stuff.

Come on, accept the challenge! You know you want to... :)

Why not turn it from an addiction to a treat? I love Starbucks :)

Did this 6 months ago when I gave up soda too :).

I never went to a starbucks so its easy for me-- I hate flavored coffee -- hot and black is the only way I will drink coffee  coffee is for the caffiene not the taste.

i would quit it but i work there quite off and ever employee has to try every thing from food to drinks and my problem is all the sampling have to do and if we sample one of our new drinks or food we have to try it cause we have to tell you the buyer about it how is whats in it whats better ... you know how to help you to your perfect drink chose.... so it hard from me who works there I have in the passed week stop eating a sample of ever thing we put out I dont buy any of the drinks at all so im doing good but its not helping one bit

I too have never been to a starbucks...so this is a challenge I can surely master.

I only drink the iced green tea but as a treat. Also they put too much ice in the cup. Way too much to pay for a cup of ice!

hrosent1, I totally agree with you. Starbucks is depleting my bank account too and it is an addiction to me.

Starbucks is one of the reasons I fell off the wagon.

when will you start that challenge?

Good luck
