The more water I drink, the hungrier I am during the day. Is this normal?

I have been trying to drink more water per day for the last few weeks. I drink about 6 glasses a day but it seems that on days that I drink less I am not as hungry. On days when I do drink 6 glasses it seems like all I do is think about when I get to eat again. When I drink say...2-4 glasses I don't seem to be as preoccupied with food and eating. Does anyone else have this problem or can explain it? Any answers would be appreciated

I'm honestly the same way. When people tell me to drink water before I eat because it'll make me less hungry, it NEVER works. No idea why it does that!

This is a forum, not a chat room. 22 min without a response isn't exactly excessive. 

OK, posted that because it was being pushed down the list due to innactivity. If you don't have anything to add to the topic why did you waste your time posting? YOU'RE EXCESSIVE.

I don't have suggestions for you, bc when I'm hungry and i drink something usually the urge goes away.  Are you drinking to replace eating/snacking?  If you're getting really hungry, make sure you're getting the right amt of cals and snack in b/w meals...if they're healthy snacks, you'll be fine.

Same for me, drinking and hunger are not related.  If your hungry have a snack, not a drink.

Yes, it means that your body isn't getting what it needs.  Try eating something high fiber (I like wasa bread, or triskets) when you drink your water.  Its a lo-cal snack that will fill you up, and give your body some nutrients to process, which should make your hunger go away.
