Who makes the better veggie burger?

I'm totally going with Bocca on this one. ;)

I like the Morningstar Farms Garden Veggie burger! :)

Morningstar farm, grillers prime is the tastiest for me!

Morningstar generally has better things, like the Spicy Black Bean Burger and the Tomato Basil Mozzarella Pizza Burger and the breakfast sausage...

...but as for the straight up original burger?  Definitely Boca.

Oh my goodness.  No I definitely like Morning Star better.  I was a boca fan for a while but I recently started cooking with the Morning star and I make the tastiest meals with it.  Just add a little Emeral's season salt to it, cut it up and through it on a wrap with some guacamole...it's the best thing ever.

Although, I do love my bocas.

Morning star is yummy!

i'm going to answer with neither: it's president's choice.  yum...

I second Morningstar Griller's Prime as the cream of the crop.

They're not vegan, though :(

As far as an actual VEGGIE burger and not that dog-food tasting hockey puck fake meat burger, I'd say Gardenburger wins.

Out of the two... Boca. But I think Gardenburger makes the best veggie burger, as madetoshine said.

Morningstar burgers - Too high in sodium (salt), but generally tastes better

Boca (Vegan style)- Breaks apart too easily in your mouth, but healthier. Only 100 calories per serving, and a high level of protein (20 grams, whereas Morningstar usually has only 15-18 grams)

Morningstar farms has a better variety, plus I can eat more of their items (many of Boca's patty-style meats are breaded, which I can't do.)

But I think Quorn Naked Chik'n Cutlets beat the pants off both of those AND gardenburgers!

Mmm yes, they're so good!  I know a lot of veggies are anti-fake meat but damn, they're delish.

Morningstar, in every regard! The alternative burgers like the spicy black bean and tamato basil are amazing.

Morningstar; their vegan burgers are awesome! :D

Amy's California Burgers. They are also soy free and vegan! Unfortunately they are always the most expensive brand.

The Boca Bruschetta burger and spicy chick'n patty are so tasty...I get so annoyed with Morning Star cuz they still use eggs in so many of their products...

I don't really like Boca burgers.  Their chick patties are good though.  I am more of a morningstar fan myself.  Although I too wish they could remove the egg from more of their products.  I'm not vegan but I am a very strict vegetarian and only eat eggs that are cage free organic.  I also like Qourn products as well.  They are very tasty.  They also use egg in their products but I emailed them a while ago and they are trying to change their egg use to cage free organic eggs, which makes me happy.  I am also not a fan of Boca since they are the creation of Kraft and if you call Kraft to inquire about their cheese (to find out if they use rennet) they will give you the run around.  I also don't eat cheese that contains rennet since that is the enzymes from the baby cows stomachs.  :-(

Morning Star Spicy Black Bean Burgers all the way!!! :o)

OMG!  Morning Star all the way! boca taste like dirt Laughing

Lmao. I guess I'm almost on my own here. I started out eating Morning Star Farms but always found the consistency so mushy I almost couldn't stand it. Then I decided to try Bocca and they just seemed more firmer and therefore I could stomach it better. They taste the same to me, except for the texture.

I absolutely love spicy black bean burgers..but I try to stay clear only for the fact that they are a little more caloric then I would like. For instance I guess they are around 140 calories for 1 burger..I can have TWO original Bocca burgers for the same amount of cals. Damn...if they made a lower calorie one I would be eating those things probably almost every day. Haha.
