Morning Star Farms Vs. Bocca

Who makes the better veggie burger?

I'm totally going with Bocca on this one. ;)

Both are OK, but I like Masala ones sold in trader Joes, and Dr. Praeders California and Tex mex veggie burgers.

Has anyone tried the Morning Star Chicken patties? They are so good:) So much better than any processed **** I ever ate from Fast food restaraunts before I became a vegetarian.

I prefer Bocca burgers, however if I am going to do a meatloaf I use the morning start grillers prime.

For chicken patties, we used to get morning star, but have recently switched to Quorn products, it is the best meat-free chicken products I have ever had, texture and taste is as close as you are going to get to the real thing, at least imo.

morning star For sure!! I just had the spicy black bean burger actually. I really dont like bocca, too plain and it reminds me too much of an actualy hamburger lol

I gotta say Boca because MS doesn't make vegan ones, but I used to love the Tomato Basil Pizza Burgers. I wish I could find an alternative.

As far as plain burgers go, I'll have to say Gardenburger makes the best. Love Morning Star Farms black bean burger. Love Boca Chicken Patties. Love any "chicken" product made by Quorn.

Morningstar actually DOES have a VEGAN patty out now..It is part of the Grillers line I think,since they have the 'prime' and original..I believe it's just the 'vegan style' one....I've boughten it and it's not bad...The only thing I don't like about alot of the Boca products is that you actually NEED to grill or bake them otherwise they are mushy.

I recently bought a box of Amy's Texas Veggie Burgers and OMG, they are SO GOOD.  They're more plump and less hockey-puck-esque that regular soy burgers, and they are SO good (and vegan).  I highly recommend them, especially with some bbq sauce. 

I like both brands (Morning star has a better "chicken" pattie in my opinion, and I really love Bocca's vegan patties) but my FAVORITE veggie burger is 'the original' Gardenburger... it's a classic! I love to switch it up though, 'Griller's Prime' by Bocca is very "meaty" and tasty!!

I love to cut up the "chicken" patties by morning star for my salads, the breading gives it a good mix with the salad! All you have to do is make your salad and pop the pattie in the microwave and cut it up and throw it in and you're good to go :)

I like both.  If I want a hamburger I like bocca.  If I want a tasty veggie patty then I love the varietyof garden burger.  I'm not a vegetarian but I try to only eat meat once a day or less and I love hot sandwiches.

On the occasion that I'll have one, which isn't often....

I definitely prefer the plain vegan Boca burger :) They also carry them at Johnny Rockets & Red Robin in place of a meaty burger which is very cool in my book!

I do also very much like the Smart Pups in place of hotdogs as well.
