Motivate me, baby!

Hi...new to this site and I am looking for motivation tips.  I have found that when I log into this site about 3 times a day that I am more motivated to watch what I eat versus when I am not on this site.  What are some of the wonderful things that motivate YOU?

Thanks in advance!

Michelle

Doing mini work outs in the morning and before bed....some times it feels good.

If I've lost a bit of weight or not gained any, I'll make sure I aplaud myself or do a little happy dance:).

Also, to get myself to the gym I'll tell myself how good it'll feel, helps when i'm sick too. or to just go for a walk outside...

I like to look at old pictures of myself or other fit people and remember how great I used to feel when ever i got a compliment, or how confident i was in a bathingsuit.

MAGAZINES!!!like Shape, Alive, Women's Health are sooooo great!!!they really convince me to workout, eat good food!!highly recommend getting some or even just going to their websites..
I  first do something easy, babysit ups. A rep of 85,then stop. Come back in a few minutes do bicycle in the air to rap music,to get the blood flowing. Lots of rap Music,or Archenemy.Cause they are such soliders. Looking at my body in it's lazy form, what a bummer,I just say to myself, what happened? And get busy. Also, I want to get clearer skin.

Cool ideas!

Thanks for responding!

Thanks for your post!

Throughout the course of my young life i was called fat, ugly, and obese. Many people worried about how fat I was and how i could not lose any of the excess fat. Howerever soon I started to lose weight as I grew up and I really liked the feeling of being asked, "Did you lose weight?" It just made me so happy and proud so after that, I started to diet and exercise without turning back. After a year and a half of effort I started to put a little less effort than i used to but, whenever i look at a picture of my oldself I feel that I have accomplished a great amount. Now of days people will call me health nut, 6 packs and lean boy, but it sure beats what i used to be called.

That's great! Thanks for sharing!

Hi!

I don't have any tips since I don't think this weight loss journey is based on tricks but on changing your lifestyle completely.

But as an inspiration, you can maybe (if you want) take a look in my gallery for before and after pictures of me.

That's what inspired me in the beginning.

Hope it will help you a little bit...

I was called fat all my life. My motivation comes from just seeing that I am not the only one trying to get into better shape and hearing that people like myself are succeeding is a great inspiration.

I like to read success stories, like Amoria's!  Great job, there!

I also like to read Prevention magazine, Eating Well, Weight Watchers, etc.  for inspiration. My biggest motivator, though, is my health.   After only 2.5 months of effort my cholesterol is normal and I feel better than I have for quite a while.

The younger you are when you tackle the weight problem, the better off you will be!!!! Do whatever is necessary to stay motivated.  And if you go off track, just get back on the next day!

Being able to dance all night. Not girling out when doing mat workouts with the boys.
