Alright, getting a bit carried away. I love music -- especially the motivational type.
Rollins Band, "Low Self Opinion" Velvet Revolver, "Slither" Rollins Band, "Your Number Is One" Clutch, "A Shogun Named Marcus" Propellerheads, "Bang On!" Turbonegro, "Ride With Us"
And the post-race track is one more from Rollins and company, "Shine":
"If I listened to everything that they said to me, I wouldn't be here, And if I took the time to bleed from all the tiny little arrows show my way, I wouldn't be here, The ones who don't do anything are always the ones who put you down, And you could spend your entire life walking around in the nowhere land of self-doubt..."
Girl Talk (aka DJ Greg Gillis) "Night Ripper" is hands down the BEST work out CD ever!
Girl talk mixes music from today's top 40 w/Elton John, old school rock, indie rock - the result is so much fun and totally gets you ready to go! Sometimes I just have to drag myself to the gym and this entire CD has me good to go for a good 40 mins on the eliptical, treadmill, whatever! :)

Try "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor and Aretha Franklin's "Respect" - they'll get you moving! Mental and emotional health is just as important and these 2 tunes are very empowering!
I run to a lot of 70's Disco-type music - the beat keeps me motivated and it's a load of fun. I guess I'm dating myself by admitting this but "oh, well!"
I could not go a day without my christian techno... Nitro Praise.. and christian rock like David Crowder , Newsboys , you can dance and praise and loose weight all at the same time!
Generally, it depends on how motivated I am that day to work out. Usually though, these are the staples.
If I'm eager to work out as is, and just want something to hum along to, I usually listen to these.
Kings of leon - Woo Hoo, My third house, Velvet Snow, Pistol of fire and Four kicks. [i really do like them, haha].
Animal Collective - Banshee Beat, We Tigers, For Reverend Green.
The Cure - Why Can't I be You?
Polyphonic Spree - Anything really, haha. They just inspire a fun mood.
Arctic Monkeys - Again, anything usually.
Metric - Combat Baby, Monster Hospital
Girl Talk - ANYTHING. So amazingly fun, ahha.
If I'm feeling overly depressed and I need the endorphines that working out provides, but I'm just in a lazy mood, these get me going because of the lyrics.
Rilo Kiley - Silver Lining.
Joy Division - She's lost control.
The Smiths- The Queen is Dead.
The Cure - Disintegration
Sam and Dave- Thank you
Aretha Franklin- Respect
Edwin Starr- 25 Miles to Go
Ram Jam- Black Betty
Rod Stewart- Hot legs
LOL. I could go on and on and on and on....
I get hyped by lots of different music...
"Don't Stop" by ATB
"Forever Today" Tiesto
"Honky Tonk Woman" The Rolling Stones
"I Don't Need Love I've Got My Band" The Radio Dept.
"LDN" Lily Allen
"Don't Stop Me Now" Queen
"This Fire" Franz Ferdinand
"Dancing With Myself" Billy Idol
"All my Loving" The Beatles!
"Suddenly I See" KT Tunstall
... just a few examples
