Does anyone have motivation clothing? Last December I went to a clothing store and saw an amzing sweater jacket that i must have - the only problem was they didnt have an extra-large, just a large. But i liked it so much. A few weeks later I went back to the store and it was still there and it was marked down! i tried it on again and it still didnt fit but i loved it too much to let it go so i said screw it im buying it. It been hanging in my closet ever since.

Since then I have been able to zip it up comfortably and I know by the time appropriate sweater jacket season comes around I will be able to wear it proudly.

This jacket motivated me to work hard. i told myself, "Imagine how good your going to look in that jacket." Anyone else have something like my jacket?

I have a really cute outfit that I want to be able to fit in. I am only two pant sizes away. The pants are white capris and a really cute belt, with a very expensive gorgeous top. The pants are 9's and the shirt is a meduim. I am in 13's and large right now. I bought the pants back when I might have been able to wear them 4 years ago. The shirt I bought recently. I think it is good to bring the old and new together. It would feel really good to fit into pants that I bought a long time ago and could barely fit into. I also have a picture of me at my heaviest right next to it with my fat pants and a shirt I could barely squeeze into when I started losing weight. They are on the back of my bedroom door so that when I get a craving at night, I get up and go toward the kitchen, but those two outfits and the picture are there to remind me what my goal is, then I usually decide to just go back to bed and try to sleep it off. Night time is always the worst time for my cravings so it really helps.
I have a pair of pants myself!  I like to buy a pair of pants that are a bit tight b/c I know I've lost weight if they fit.  I bought a pair of khakis and I'm hoping to fit into to them by the time fall comes around.  What do you do with the clothes that are too big for you now?  I have the hardest time getting rid of them (though recently I managed to donate a bag of them) b/c they're still nice and I guess a part of me is still afraid that I'll have a relapse and have to wear them again.

I have a pair of pants that I bought my freshman year of college that I want to fit into again.  They're dark blue stretch denim with bright orange stitching.  Perfect for going out ^_^  Oh, and did I mention that they're SKIN tight when they fit right?  Soooo flattering for the butt, seriously.
OH yes!  The entire time I've been doing this, I've bought clothes ahead of time.  Shirts and jeans always 1 size too small.  I actually still have a pair of 30 waist jeans hanging up that I can't fit into (comfortably).  They keep me going and let me know that I CAN do this.  I just hope by the time I'm done that they all still fit comfortable and I don't need to go out and buy MORE clothes, haha.
I have some really tight kinda stretchy jeans that are really dark (which i love) and there's stitching just below the knee then they flare out a little. Even when I could fit into them I had to use safety pins because there's snaps instead of buttons so if they're too tight they'll go pop! I want to get into them without safety pins.
I have been doing what finewine58 has done, always buy a sz smaller if I like the clothes and put it in my closet and work towards fitting into it. I was a 16, and now I am down to a nice loose 12. So 10 are just around the corner. Also jades I have actually brought some of my clothes to work and let the ladies here pick out what they want. Sizes vary here alot and so if I can help someone and get them out of my closet works for me. I DO NOT leave big sizes in my closet b/c my mind is made up, I WILL NOT go back so why keep them, it's only a temptation and cushion to eat more...and I don't need that.

I do have a pair of Jeans I bought back when I was single which is hmmmm...8yrs ago. They are a sz 4, and they really do wonderful works to the booty, so I have kept them for my ultimate goal....
My "Skinny" jeans. I could wear them about 6 months ago and I want to get in them comfortably again (sadly to say for the first time haha) breathing while wearing clothes is important and I will, eventually :)
Well, I bought a bunch of small t-shirts when I weighed 155, one of them was particularly small, and barely fit me even then, it's now my goal shirt.

I also have a pair of Levi's that my then-girlfriend talked me into buying.  Size 32, and not the baggy cut I'm used to.  Haha, I never really liked those pants, but they make a great weightloss goal.

I have some spandex bike shorts and a jersey... I wouldn't so much call them motivation, more like fear, when I put them on and look in the mirror it terrifies me! Luckily they work well enough under normal clothing for now =)
Mmmm, men in pants that fit them.  Yum.  We convinced a friend to buy pants that actually fit him.  He wore them to Fanime and wound up with a stalker, it was great.  (He's one of those super tall, skinny guys so wearing pants that fit him made him look toned, not starved for a change)
im thinking about buying a really cute dress for new years or something for motivation... like a size 6 dress or something...im like an 8 or a 10 right now.

also i have clothing rewards...

once i lose my weight im buying myself a pair of really expensive lu lu lemons and a new bikini!  yay
I have skirt that I wore before I had my son.  For the last 5 years, I couldn't get it over my hips.  Now, I can get it on and if I lay on the bed I can zip it all the way (Yes, I really did that!).

It's too tight to wear.  But, one day I shall wear it again!  It's a size 14.

Also have a size 36 jeans.  They're a really small 36. Some sort of Levi's.  I call them "you must be punished."  I used to wear them when I overate, but I stopped doing that because I don't want to be mean to myself anymore.
ohhh yeah! I have a pair of Buffalo jeans that are hanging up near my bed. They are really dark with light sticking down the sides and the cutest butt. I'm going to fit into them again if it killsss me.
I have an Ann Taylor dress that I wore well (not too tight) 2 months bf I got pregnant.  Have it hanging in sight... want to wear it comfortably by Thanksgiving.

I have the absolutely gorgeous dress that I wore to my senior prom that is now about a size too small.  I want to wear it to a formal in April, which should be doable, if I stay focused on that fact.
My bicycling gear is motivation clothing. I don't want to look like a stuffed sausage—anything extra is blindingly obvious when you're wearing lycra shorts and a snugly-fitting jersey.
I have a skirt that is a size 8. I wore it before I had kids, and I can almost wear it comfortably. another inch and it will fit perfectly.
I have an A-line fifties skirt that looks terrible if my abs are flabby. That's a big motivation for me. I love that skirt and it looks so bad on me if I neglect the gym!
Mine is a pretty size 16 outfit for fall.  Slacks, shell and sweater in shades of taupe, ready to be accessorized with fall colors and a nice pair of shoes.
I bought a size 10 pair of shorts. At the slow rate I'm going lately, though, it's gonna be a long time before I can get in them - currently size 14. But every morning they are there watching me when I go into my closet. And more than once I've skipped Starbucks/mindless snacking because I think of how badly I want to get into those cute shorts... :)
