Motorola Razr V3
I am going to be getting a new cell phone for my birthday and I am looking at a couple of differnt ones...I just want something simple...with a camera...I am currently torn between a nokia 2670 and a Motorola Razr V3...I'm with T-mobile, don't know if that makes any difference, and with the discount that I am going to get both phones will be about 100 dollars...I currently have a nokia brick and hate it...I don't get all of my texts, I have to reboot it several times and it is slow. My boyfriend told me to look at LG or Sony Erickson, but both brands were going to be too expensive....He also told me to stay away from the Nokia....I am really only going to be using my phone for Pic messaging, texting and talking...no internet or anything like that. What are your thoughts on the two phones or any idea's of other not very excpensive but good quality phones?
I used to have a Razr and I really liked it! The only problem: it has horrible battery life. I had one of the first ones, so I'm not sure how they've changed, but the camera was pretty decent and texting is simple. Never had any problems receiving text messages. Its cute too! :D
Not sure about Nokias, but if you have the cash, LG phones are really nice too. I have one now- best battery life, great for texting, and a nice camera!
Good luck finding a phone!
I love my Motorola razor.
I've had it over a year and it hasn't had a single malfunction. I've dropped it, sat on it, used it in the rain...its a good phone and still looks brand new. My sister has the exact same phone (wasn't planned) and is just as happy with hers.
It's also taken loads of great photos (for a camera phone) if you have decent lighting.
I have received and sent email with it and have gotten on line without any trouble. It texts messages like a champ and has decent sound quality for ring tones and such. You can assign features to the buttons with ease and it allows for a screen saver.
It's also my only alarm clock.
My favorite thing about it is the design. Most of my friends have bulky phones and are somewhat jealous that I can carry mine in my jeans pocket without affect.
My next phone will also be a razor.
Edited to add: My previous phones were all Nokias. They had issues like batteries completely dying (unrechargable), paint peeled exposing ugly plastic, cut off texts or wouldn't accept them, pieces fell off (I drop my phone on occassion
), couldn't hear the caller unless I had the phone held in the exact right place on my ear.
I had my razor for 6 years and it was perfect the entire time! On its 6th year the battery cover kept falling off.... and my mom just got herself an iPhone and fell in love so she bought me one with the excuse that mine was "broken". I miss it a bit, but the iPhone is definitely ADDICTING AS ALL HELL! ha ha!
Thanks for all the replies! I am pretty sure I am going to go with the Razr! Now I just have to decide what color I want!
