How do I move on from an eating disorder?
Asked by anonymous on Sep 15, 2008 in Eating Disorders

Every time I eat junk food I get mad and I want to make myself throw up, but I don't.  I get mad easily. One day I will eat a lot of one thing and the next day I won't.  Is that normal?

Answer

Are you getting the help you need to recover from bulimia?  You have to find a therapist you can work with, take your medicine, and get nutrition counseling from a registered dietitian.  Give yourself love and understanding because you are a good person who has been through a lot.  Don't beat yourself up for having a bad day.
