They probably use any kind, not name brand..  there is no way to figure the calories from it.  A small can range 600 or more calories. Did u add butter?  That butter is almost pure calories like oil.

no butter. but i meant like oil or air popped?

i take it its oil popped then lol

Yes, it is oil popped, and without butter, a small is still about 600 calories, and a large is around 1600!!

I actually make my own and sneak it in, along with a bottle of water, in my big purse.  Even if it WAS healthier, you have to take out a 2nd mortgage on your house these days to buy snacks at the movie theaters lol.

I worked in a movie theater for several years.  We made the popcorn with a ton of oil and butter flavoured salt.  So, very bad :) 

I recommend skipping it.  I don't even want to know how much weight I gained snacking on popcorn during my breaks.
