Movie Theatre Snack Suggestions?
I am going to the movie today and I don't want to waste all my calories on their snacks. I though about bringing like an apple and peach. But I don't know if that will help me withstand all my friends' holding hot popcorn and melting chocolate. Does anyone have any suggestions of snacks to sneak into a movie theatre? All and any suggestions would be appreciated! thank you!

A single serving bag of Smartfood White Cheddar popcorn has only 230 calories and its YUMMY. You could also get at the movie theater a small popcorn with no butter and just make sure you don't eat the entire thing.
I went to the movies about a week ago and brought a Ziplock with 1 cup Cheerios and 1 small box of raisins (opened and mixed in the Ziplock). I saw 17 Again, and it lasted me the whole movie. Only 240 calories, too!
You can be creative and mix different dried fruits together with pretzels, chips, chex mix, dry cereal, etc. It's really fun seeing what you can come up with, and wards off the temptation of gooey buttery popcorn.
I went to the cinemas the other say and while my husband binged on large popcorn and a kitkat. I had 30 grapes and a phili snack pot with thai chilli sauce.
A bit of a random combo but since i like them both, i didnt feel the need to snack on anything else. I think its when you snack on low calorie "rabbit food" that's when you get dis-satified and look for something "Naughty"
So just make a wise choice on something you know you will enjoy.

I'm a little biased cause it's my name, but I'm going to have to say edamame! I love bringing edamame to movies; it totally satisfies in the same way popcorn does, and it's so easy to throw together before you go.
What's edamame? Where do you find it? What does it look like?
My hubby and I go to the movies (date night) every saturday and I love, love, love popcorn, so I get a small plain popcorn, adjust my cals for that day, and call it my treat. I look forward to that treat every week. It took a while to get used to going from the deliciously buttered popcorn with extra cheesy salt on it, but now I'm used to the unbuttered and love it just as much (well...almost). I think it is mostly mental....you always associate going to the movies with munching on something.
