Hi, I'm currently living in Tucson, AZ but I'm moving to Seattle next month. I'd like some members' input about property managements, fitness clubs and is West Seattle decent for bike riding (I have a cruiser).
I'd like to live there car-free for a while. I bike around Tucson quite a bit, we have low grades but I stay out of the hilly areas. I also walk briskly daily. I haven't belonged to an actual fitness club for 9 years. I have worked out at the city-run weight room for the past year ($15/3 months).
I'm in maintenance mode and transitioning into strength training. Currently, I'm doing calisthenics and resistance bands.
thanks for helping!
hi there! i know this was posted last month... so you are probably busy packing by now!
i would say west seattle is pretty good for bike riding. the whole area is actually, if you don't mind hills. i actually live in bellevue now but i lived in seattle until almost a year ago.
as far as gyms go, i have only belonged to 24 hour fitness and la fitness. both are pretty much what you would expect :) what's nice about 24 hour though is there are a ton of locations and your membership is good for any of them.
good luck with the move!
I am here, in West Seattle. So far, so good. The weather is a good incentive to keep moving around! Lots of joggers and bikers!
