Munchies

Quote  |  Reply

Hello,  I was just reading over some of the posts and thought no one has mentioned getting the extra urge to eat during there cycle? I swear that a monster takes over me during that 5 days a month forcing me to stuff extra food and lots of chocolate down my throat.. seems I loose complete control of my eating--anyone else have this feeling?

I definitely have the same problem.  On top of that, I have NO energy whatsoever to exercise...so not only am I upping the calorie in-take, but I can't get rid of it either.  I have found that I crave sweets like crazy, so I try to eat things that aren't as bad for me like sugar-free jell-o snacks with fat free/sugar free whipped cream on top.  The absolute best thing that I can do for my body is be sure to drink water as much as possible - carry a bottle around with you and you'll be drinking it more often then you realize.  This way, your body stays hydrated, less cramping, and you're feeling a bit more full and won't munch out as much.  In any case, a little bit of chocolate never killed anyone. Wink

I eat like crazy when it is that time of the month. I try to eat veggies and fruits but sometimes I just want some comfort food. I eat the yoplait whips for something sweet and that helps. And if I want a hamburger I get the child meals so I don't eat as much.
