Recipe Ingredients for My Favorite Chili
| 2 | can (15-ounce) beans, kidney, drained |
| 28 | ounce canned tomatoes, diced |
| 2 | lbs lean ground beef, coarsly ground |
| 2 | medium onions, chopped |
| 1 | green pepper, chopped |
| 2 | garlic cloves, crushed |
| 3 | tablespoon chili powder |
| 1 | teaspoon pepper |
| 1 | teaspoon cumin |
| 1 | teaspoon Salt, to taste |
Recipe Directions for My Favorite Chili
- Brown and drain ground beef.
- Put all ingredients in 4 qt slow cooker in the order listed. Stir once. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours. (High: 5 to 6 hours).
- Add two or three jalapenos (or more), diced, to spice it up a bit, if desired.
- Substitute beef with ground turkey, if desired.
