I am sure many people drink myoplex protein shake. but I think the lite version is better. what do you think ? Also, I just want to know if you can drink your protein shake right before the workout or do you have to wait a little bit?

I like the lite version. Mix it with diet peach snapple. Yummy. You can drink before, I eat a small meal before then sometimes a shake after.
i prefer drinking one about 45 minutes before, to let it digest, and get into my system
dont know, myo isnt the best taste or anything... isopure is the best but it cost $.
I say 30 min before a workout is good (supplies your muscle during a workout... but you dont really need it per se) but i usully go on an empty stomach with maybe creatine or NO suppliment.
Definately after a workout though. Protien + carbs after a workout!
I'd drink some like 20g so if your doing morning cardio on empty stomach (morning cardio so you dont loose muscle but burning the fat since your glucous lvls are low in the morning or after weight lifting)

Thanks for the responses.
Vudoo32x: I agree with you. Isopure is great too but some people mentioned to me it has a lot of protein. Even more than your body needs. I can't remember the number but I guess it is 24 or 25 g of protein.
