just recently my nails break and peel for no reason,that I can work out. I eat avery healthy diet and have not made any radical changes.Also I take the recomended vitamins. Anyone have any suggestions ?

There are a lot of deficiencies that can cause problems with your nails. Check your current levels of calcium, iron, biotin, zinc and protein. Keep in mind, dry skin, hair and nail problems can also be a sign of a thyroid problem. Good luck!
To add on to what Mistymom said...you could be suffering from dryness due to winter. My nails break and peel more in the winter than in the summer. I drink tons of water and constantly apply cream too.
I have started to resort to applying vaseline on freshly washed hands and putting socks on my hands to bed to get in some deep moisturizing.
