Spaghetti squash. It's hard to come by in the UK but looks tasty.

  • Fage 0% Yogurt
  • Banana ice cream
  • Blueberry ice cream
  • Chocolate almond/soy milk
  • Coconut pancakes
  • Coconut donut
  • Coconut waffles
  • Strawberry bagel
  • Crumpet
  • Almond butter
  • Cashew butter
  • Scrambled tofu
  • Vegetable stir-fry
  • Fruit loops
  • Porridge
  • Lobster with butter
PUMPKIN.

I'm sorry, don't hurt me lol! I've never tried pumpkin, pumpkin pie or anything pumpkin based. The only time I ever see pumkins in scotland are at halloween - which is dreadfully soon, and I PROMISE I WILL buy a pumpkin. Somebody once told me that some parts of a pumkin are poisonus?! True or false... IM TOO YOUNG TO DIE haha!

This isn't really in context; but I find it hilarious that americans call AUBERGINES, egg plants! I mean, they aint nothing like eggs! It's mad.

Eggplants are kinda egg shaped. Aubergine is a much more harmonious name but I'd get laughed at if I went to Original Italian and ordered "aubergine parmesan"!

Escargot. They sound nasty but I love mussels and they look nasty too.

I don't think any pumpkin parts are poisonous. The seed kernels are good too. Pumpkin muffins are delicious! They call to me from Dunkin' Donuts as I drive by this time of year. Or from Great Harvest... oh and Pumpkin Roll with cream cheese filling... Must stop now and go drink cold water to get over pumpkin frenzy.

oatmeal!

im serious i have never tried it. heard it does good and super healthy, i even have it in the kitchen! my dad eats it before but gave up. have never bothered to try so far since i rather eat something else (guilty!) and it looks.. nasty? hahah im sorry but all i see is this white lumpy liquid. turns me off abit. but i do want to try someday (: ..maybe when i run out of food and starving for life. other wise, i wont bother. d:

Always wanted to try spaghetti squash -- finally did this week -- it's my new favorite!

Not many other things that I haven't tried (that I want to -- lot's of things I'm not interested in trying)

And, Twiggy -- they are called eggplants because of the shape and color of some of them -- which is white and egg shaped.

cottage cheese!

beets.

There was a beet thread a while back that got me very excited to try roasted beets. But then I chickened out. Thanks for reminding me!

Oh yeah, and since were doing the US/UK food exchange here it seems, I want to try a yorkshire pudding too. I saw them on a Ramsay's kitchen nightmares and they look yummy and peculiar.

I've never tried beets either and I'd like to.  It's odd that I haven't since I am generally pretty adventurous but my family seem really opposed to the idea of beets and I hate cooking something no one else is going to eat.

I also have never had raw oysters but I think I can live my life nicely without them!

shwarma!! -- i think thats how you spell it

ive always wanted to try it, but now that Im calorie conscious, i dont know if its worth the calories to add it in lol

I would like to try oysters on the half shell, sushi, kimchi, truffles (not the chocolate kind).

I think all of the above might be kind of gross, but i'm curious.

bugs or any other creepy-crawly...maybe by accident but not intentionally. LOL.

Just kiddin' I just bought some purple bell peppers. Should be interesting 'cause I don't "do" purple foods ie: eggplant, beets, chard, etc. No chance of me eating avocado either, it's a texture thing (I don't like oily/greasy foods clinging to the roof of my mouth. Just recently got over my aversion to beans (green/yellow), the scratchy feeling on the roof of my mouth (like the roughness of a cat's tongue).

I'm interested in smell, taste nutrition, etc. But texture tends to be a deal breaker.

I actually have an artichoke steaming right now.  I'm going to eat it with this roasted garlic aioli.

I've had artichoke hearts, but I've never had a steamed one that you just dip into sauce.

Can't wait.  :D

Brain.  I am serious.  I've eaten pretty much eaten every innard of an animal except its brain o___O

When I was 15, I used to clean cow brains every Saturday (for a standing special order).

Corduroy: Yorkshire puddings are lovely. Quite easy to make, too.

Tripe. I've never had it, to my knowledge, and it sounds peculiar.

Horse meat. Apparently it was quite common in Italy when I lived there, but I could never find it on the menu at restaurants. Must not've been eating at the right places. But it sounds interesting. And dog. I know, I know, who could eat Fido? But hey, if the Vietnamese eat it, it must be okay, right? Just curious.

I'd like to try Tofu. It looks like it would be disgusting, but this lifestyle change has made me want to give it a whirl.

sushi

umm.. jambalaya & snake & artichoke i geuss..
