Name a thing or two that you have cut out of your diet to cut back on calories.

I loooooooooove a glass of wine...but I have cut back on it, and only allow myself a glass or two on the weekends now.....I'm saving about 20 bucks extra a week too! lol Cutting back has cut out about 1200 extra calories a week.

I also stopped buying chips during the week...it almost became a tradition to eat a bag of chips every night, now we save that for the weekend too, and I only buy those little 1 serving bags.

What have you done?

Regular full on sugar filled Coca Cola. :) I miss it sooo much, but it's ok.
Regular Soda and White Choc Mochas from Starbucks. Just by not drinking regular soda I cut 600 cals out daily! I still drink soda but only Diet and when I really need starbucks I will get a Iced Nonfat Sugar Free Vanilla Latte
ice cream :)

ALL candy, use to love sweets, now I'm a fruit addict - hardly can remember what I'm missing:)
Oooh, I always drink diet caff. free cola, I don't think that's all that great for me either...I'm working on weaning myself off of it though! lol
Ii have cut back on popcorn, not only for callories sake, but i'm doing the Forever Young Diet and Lifestyle and it is not part of the eating that they recommend. Lots of Fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, seafood, turkey and chicken, and Nuts and whole grains. It's a great lifestyle change for me and has already made a difference in my health. I used to eat 3 or 4 bags of microwave popcorn per day. Loved it! But I really haven't missed it.
wine, although sometimes i feel like i have a headache with 2 glasses and i tend to add 1 or 2 more. I only drink dry red wine. Its good for your health and weight
I miss popcorn.. The type of popcorn that you can buy at your local pharmacy or something (Eckerd, Rite Aid). That and the occasional sweet. I gave it all up.

It's tough.

I think I might die.
you won't die!!
milk and bread
french vanilla cappuccinnos and bread!
I tried the no bread thing and can't do it.
soda and sports drinks.  and beer.  sigh.  I mean, not completely beer but, it was getting a little ridiculous there for a while....funny how when you're in college its acceptable to live like an alcoholic.  We're lucky to get out alive!
Giving up bread? eesh. I can't even think where to begin with that one.
Icecream, most breads, pasta (don't like wheat for some reason...), and sweets (candy, cookies, cake, etc). Which stinks because I have such a sweet tooth lol.
The glass (or 2) of ice cold whole milk I used to have with meals and the cans of coke classic I drank throughout the day.  Not suprisingly since I stopped buying cans of coke I also was able to stop buying jars of Rolaids and Tums.  Not nearly as much heartburn (still everyday but not as severe or long lasting) now as I did before I cut out the cokes.
Regular soda and going out to eat for lunch.  I would rather eat my calories then drink them and not eating out at lunch time saves me so much cash.  Plus I was going to McDonalds almost everyday.  Oh how I miss those french fries.

Sugars and bread. I never thought I could live without bread and had no idea what I would eat to feel full.  However, now it's been over a week, I sleep like a log for the first time in years and I find I'm doing just fine.......eating lots of fruit and fish and veggies. It's amazing to me that it's not a problem and I cannot yet believe that a few slices of bread was what kept me awake at night. How can that be?
I had to break up with my favorite cheeses. Brie, Huntsman, oh my...
The only thing I've really given up is fast food...no more drive thru's!  I used to have McDonalds or Bojangles almost everyday when I went to town. I don't miss it.

Also baked sweets...and cookies...and all that junk that I used to buy.

I don't eat a lot of meat now...sometimes I'll have chicken.

I still have to have my Coke...and pizza, bread, pasta...that's all stuff I can't give up!
