Is it okay to nap after exercising?

I just got back from an hour long jog, and boy am I tired! It wouldn't hurt if I took about an hour nap would it?

It’s good to take a short nap after exercising.  It helps to regenerate your muscles and improves your aerobic capacity; however, first eat a snack that contains carbohydrate and protein.  Examples are a meal-replacement shake or bar, cereal with milk and fruit, or a thin meat sandwich.
