Nasty Person On Here

Watch out for this nasty person who sends nasty messages to complete strangers.  Hope no one else is unfortunate enough to have to deal with this person

All of her posts on other topics seemed half-way decent. How odd and rude.

I wonder if she might have left herself logged in on a computer and someone else jumped on and is making trouble for her. ? Dunno...it doesn't make much sense. That used to happen a lot at the college I work at...they call it getting 'poop fingered'.

Honey, don't listen to idiots who send unsolicited insults.  I feel sorry for that person if her life is so uninteresting that the only thing she has to do with her time is put folks down.

Don't know how to advise a moderator but I did send a message through contact us.  If you can tell me how to contact a moderator I will happily do so!

Thanks for the support guys and for the IF comment I have kept the email so that I can send it onto any administrators of the site as proof.  Not that silly as to delete it and let it be one persons word against another.

Maybe someone else did log on in her absense but it seems a little weird that they would come in and hunt around and then send a message or messages out.  Thinking maybe they are just a very unhappy person.

Luckily I am happy with myself but someone less secure could end up really upset and distracted from their goal by a silly nasty comment like this.

Hi Lisa, if you want to contact a moderator you can do it in to ways.
There is a report violations button at the top of every thread, just click that or your case where it was a PM, just PM one of us.

In the meantime, you can block the user that is bothering you.  This will stop them from being able to PM you or comment in your journal.

Thanks for that, I have blocked them.  I have also saved the message so that I can forward it onto a moderator or administrator if it is claimed to not exist.

That is good, You can also click print screen and send it to the contact number.
This helps greatly when you see an ad that is not appropriate for C-C.

eh there are lots of nasty people on here.  Trolls, know it alls, and of course jerks. 

I looked at both your profile and then hers, not so much as to compare the two of you, just in interest, but in no offense to her, I think you are much more pretty!

A friend of mine was here when I read this post and said, "voltmeter101 has a lot of nerve deciding who looks "decent" and who doesn't! I think lisajb74 is a very good looking woman no matter what the scales. Some people (voltmeter101) feel so bad about themselves that they have to sink so low as to put other people down to make themselves feel better."

You have a lovely face which is ofcourse the only part of you available to see!  The person who wrote you obviously has a problem with her own looks and spirit.  Ignore her, pity her but don't let her comment phase you..........which sounds like what you are doing!  Turn it over to the moderators and forget her.  You wouldn't want to sink to her level!  Being very generous we might just feel sorry for her problems what ever they are.

That is very creepy jess!  Don't worry about this idiot Lisa.  Hopefully, the mods can take some action to perhaps block this person.  It would be a shame if she was "poop fingered" as someone else said though.

In all honesty, I think that posting pics of yourself online is crazy and I've never done it.  I don't want to open my world up to stalkers, crazy people, perverts, a-holes and exes that might want to "re-unite."  NO thanks.

If you want to ensure that crap like this doesn't happen, take your pics down.  Any time you display your pics or your opinions in a public forum, you better be prepared to take criticism and all the ugliness that comes with it.  I'm not condoning the person's message to you or saying you "invited" this, but you and others can protect themselves.
