Hi,
i was just wondering, how many people on this site are not americans. In other words, you live in U.S./Canada/Europe but your nationality may be russian, greek, german etc.
Thanks!

I am Perfectly 100% persian! u know, Iranian! but live in canada :)
nearly 100% canadian on my mom's side (french canadian) and irish/french canadian on my dad's side - although i heard we have a wee bit of swedish heritage way back.
American citizenship made up of equal parts of the following:
from me mum: italian and polish
from pop: irish, czech (apparently there's a bit of the Scotts in there from way back)
For what it's worth, I identify as Italian.

American, third gen irish/ croatian
first generation portuguese american. i was born in the u.s. but
grew up in a very strong portuguese community. my parents
immigrated here in the mid to late 70's, few years before i was
born. got lots of family still in portugal and have gone there
many, many times since i was a baby.
My mother's American, dad's Scottish. Mom traveled to Glasgow in college and they met, married, and moved to the US.
Honestly, I find the original question rather silly.
By that standard, only Native Americans (Formerly considered Indians) are true Americans.

American mutt here - english, irish, german, austrian/italian (my family was from Asiago which is in Italy but was also part of Austria for a while. They insist that they are austrian, not italian, but Giovanni Vescovi sounds pretty italian to me!)
I'm Portuguese (born in Portugal), came to Canada when I was 12.
i'm 100% mexican.
:]
:]
I'm half English, half Norwegian.
But as I have lived in Britain all my life I do consider myself 100% English. If England and Norway were playing each other in the World Cup football finals... there'd be no contest as to who I'd be supporting ;)

ola charlie! which part of portugal if you don't mind me asking?
3 of my grandparents are German. The other is a mixture of English and Native American (Miami).
My dad's side of the family (full German) has extremely strong genes (we all look alike, blonde hair, blue eyes, same facial structures -- even if one of our parents has darker features).
