Hi,

i was just wondering, how many people on this site are not americans. In other words, you live in U.S./Canada/Europe but your nationality may be russian, greek, german etc.

Thanks!

I'm pretty boring! On My mom's side..one family came over on the Mayflower, on another side, they were Loyalist (colonists in the US who were still loyal to the British crown and fled to Canada) however the Loyalist side may have some French in it. My dad's side, we don't have a lot of records, but Scottish way back in the day, and British on the other side.

When I was in elementary school, we were learning about the vikings, and my teacher went around the classroom and told us who looked like they could have descended from Vikings (there's an icelandic settlement near me). When he came to me, he told me maybe I was a Viking, but I would have been one of the ones who stayed below deck and rowed the boats.. lol Once I reasearch dad's side more, maybe i'll find a viking link!
canadian born and bred (west coast yeah!).  mom is a raunchie newfie and dad is a conservative british man - party time.
To sum it up, I'm an Indian-Australian from Hyderabad (IND) of Tamil Origin ! Phew, I like to think that I'm a citizen of the world and that nationalities are mere coincidences, but hey, sometimes pride just sounds gud :) Hyderabad rocks !!!
Born and living in Canada. Father was english born, English/Scotish descent. Mother was Ukrainian. What a mixture.
Born and bred Canadian. My ancestors are Irish and Scottish.

I'm 100% Persian too :D But born & raised in the U.S.
I was born in London but I'm half Welsh and half Scottish. Celebrated St David's Day in style on Thursday by making Leek Broth and Welsh Cakes! (Ate all of the former over the next 3 days, and, thankfully, NONE of the latter! :D )
I consider myself British, but in no way English, apart from my 'posh' London accent, haha.
Scottish through and through ( except for the bit of Irish)
100% Greek!
