I don't think you need to eat lighter -- your calorie count is fine. I think you could maybe work in some more vegetables or fruit. It's hard to eat on the go, but if you plan it out tonight, you could take some healthy snacks with you. Try some cut up vegetables and some easy fruit like an apple, or a food bar and some nuts.

Good job eating every few hours though -- your body appreciates it.

are you sure 1350 is enough??? seems sort of low.

So it looks to me as if you ate very poorly today... Where are your vegetables missy? And lean protein so you can build nice strong muscles - the chicken from school doesn't count. While your calorie count is low for an ED recoverer, I would try and eat that amount of calories but from healthy sources of food... You should try and plan out your meals better so you are not selecting things at the last minute.

@ 6:30 am you can keep the apple, but where is the protein to keep you satisfied? What about a hard boiled egg or some peanut butter along with that apple?

Your rice treat at 10:30 is gawd-awful for your arteries and while it will help with the weight gain, it won't in a healthy way - how about a pear and some turkey slices or bell pepper slices & hummus?

Oh, popcorn chicken for lunch? No No No - How about grilled chicken on a bed of mixed greens with a ton of different vegetable toppings including olives & avocados to get your healthy fat intake up!

Omit those peanut m&ms! Replace them with something more sustaining like another hard boiled egg, or chicken or a can of tuna or salmon! Anything but the candy!!

The grapes are just fine and as long as you didn't over flow your coffee with cream & sugar you will be ok.

You know what I am going to say about your 5:15 meal... so I won't even go there..

And you 7 pm dinner.. No. I am sorry but PP&J sandwich for dinner - not healthy and I am sure you had it on white bread too... Fish, Chicken or lean cuts of red meat! Vegetables, Whole Grain Pasta?!?!

*Now I know I probably sound ridiculously harsh but I am just saying this so you can learn from your mistakes. I want you to get healthier and in order to do so you need to take some drastic steps in a healthy direction! I am glad you are recovering though!!

Ok so i'm guessing you already realised that you could have had some more nutritiuos food (sooo while i agree with giasbash on the content of her post, i can tell u now, ur going to get hammered for the way u said that, no need to be so negative i'd say)...

The cal count might be low, but for someone recovering from an ED that's a big achievment, so focus on being proud of that for starters.

You could probably get a lot better bang for your buck with some more wholesome food, but again u already know that.

You don't need to eat lighter tomorrow, just maybe try to incorporate some of the above suggestions into your day.... esp if ur at work so you don't end up feeling really tired.

Just take it one day at a time, and keep working on tweeking ur diet till u find something that u can handle without too much fuss but that's also good for you...

I agree with other's posts. Everyone has their fat days and since you're also recovering, I don't think 1350 is that bad. But yeah, i think rather than eating food that does no good, get some healthier alternatives that gives the same calories plus the needed nutrition that you're lacking.

From the foods you ate, they're mostly processed snacks with tons of calories. Suggest you try eating some more healthy carbs and protein. They will most likely contain less calories per gram in comparison to the snacks thus you can eat more! Very filling and healthy.

I think the best thing to do is put that kind of day behind you and start fresh.... .  If you set out on a day just making it up as you go along and grabbing bits and pieces here and there you can end up with a very poor diet that isn't particularly satisfying either.   Planning ahead is a really good way to make sure your diet is good and you're getting enough to eat.

Simply sit down with a notepad and write down... breakfast, lunch, supper, snacks.....  and then jot down what you'd prefer to eat.   Three square meals plus some good-quality snacks in between.  Plenty of variety.  Lots of fruit & veg, meat, fish, dairy products, wholegrains, starchy vegetables, olive oil, a few sweets .... it's all good.   Go to the shops to get the right ingredients if you don't have them and then work your way through your day...  If you plan it, it'll happen.

A healthy, reasonably active adult female needs about 1900-2100 cals a day, every day,  to function normally and to get the right nutrition.   So start from there and best of luck.

You're recovering from an ED. You shouldn't be asking members here if what you are eating is good or not..these people are dieters, most of them don't have an ED background and have no idea that this whole food situation is 293048290384902384 times more complex for you than it is for them.

There are no "good" or "bad" foods. You ate fine today, in my opinion. Eat whatever you want, as long as you aren't losing weight. That's part of recovering...learning to trust yourself and your body. If you want some less nutritious foods, eat it. If you want some fruits & veggies, eat that. Etc.

Planning meals and counting calories can be bad news bears for a person trying to recover. Try to be spontaneous and bring back the fun to eating. That's the whole point of recovery! Learning to live again and eating to live, not living to eat.
