Need advice on how to reduce fat to show muscles cuts

Hi, This is Drew.  I weight 170lb and am 24.  According to BMI, I am little overweight, but I a careless as I am perfectly fit and free of any health problems.  I want to reduce fat so my inner muscles can be seen clearly.  I am doing elliptical for an hour and weight lifting for another hour about 5 days a week.  I just started in July 2009. I had little beer belly before, but now I don't have.  I am just more interested in getting results faster as I am competely free now. I will be going to Medical school in january in Bahamas, so before I hit there, I wanna to get 6-packs. Any suggestions.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no such thing as "spot weight loss."  Belly fat seems so much more prominent on everyone because it happens to be the largest deposits on most people, so overall fat loss will eventually lead to it.  Good, proper cardio exercise and a good, balanced nutrition maintaining a calorie deficit is the proven way to lose fat.

Sounds like you are on the right track. 

If you want abs quick, it's about diet and cardio. I wouldn't focus so much on abdominal excercises until after your abs can be seen. Everyone's got abs, but a lot of people have a layer of fat covering them so it's not visible.
