I need to find something to do at home to loose weight. A tractor trailer hit my school bus about  nine months ago and has injured my upper back, more then likely forever. I have been told by the doctors I have to loose about 68 pounds to help my lower back. I have been using the tread mill and the elliptical but have not been able to loose a pound of weight. Does anyone suggest any other exercise that I can do to help loose weight that will not put strain on my upper back? I love those work out videos but they have push ups and such. Hope to hear from you soon!!

Use of a treadmill and elliptical is great exercise and should help you lose weight.  Maybe you aren't using them long enough to get the benefits?  You should get at least 30 minutes of cardio most days of the week, but it would be beneficial if you work towards getting 60 minutes or even more.

How are your eating habits?  Maybe your exercise habits are fine, but you need to fine-tune what you're eating to help lose those pounds.  You can exercise all day long, but if you're eating garbage as well, you aren't likely to see any results.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident and hope you feel better soon.  Remember to burn more calories than you eat; then you should start to see results.
