Need breakfast ideas
Other than cereal that is. Something I can take to work. I have to be at work by 6, so we get a breakfast break that I usually take around 9 and lunch I usually take at 1. Any suggestions? Well cereal is ok, but I imagine having a bowlful wouldn't be good.

if you are use to cereal, there are kellogg cereal bars, and other types of cereal bars, or an apple is easy to take with you
Piece of fruit
cup of yogurt
hard boiled egg
anything that you can prepare in a large quantity and then divide into individual cups. (this month's experiment in my kitchen is bean salad).
I rarely do cereal. Only on Sundays when I sleep in really late I'll have Kashi Go Lean oatmeal.

I was gonna say hard boiled eggs! If you have a microwave maybe some oatmeal? I work at 6 too for the summer! I like to eat before work then snack a little and I eat a small lunch - I can eat when I want (desk clerk at a tiny hotel). Last weekend I woke up kinda late and I brought some kashi oatmeal I just bought. It was good since it's really cold that early.
you can eat an apple with some peanut butter. The protein will get you moving and the apple will keep you full until around 9.
you can also try natural vanilla yogurt with fruit or Grape Nuts. I keep a large tub of yogurt in the refrigerator at work.
thanks for the suggestions, it's too bad I'm not one for peanut butter. Or oatmeal. Eggs sound good though, but I won't bring those to work. Not boiled anyway. Maybe I can make an omelet and bring that to work. I've even found it hard to find breakfast recipes (low cal ones) on the net.

I've been doing an egg-beater sandwich on Thomas Lite Multi-grain emglish muffins... the southwestern egg-beaters are pretty good, and it comes out just about fat free, high in protein, and 160 calories.

wow thanks for the suggestions! I bought some wheat bagels today and some peanut butter. I think I could handle the PB in small doses. That turkery wallfe sounds really good ashley :)
