Need a buddy... looking to lose 20 pounds
Hello my name is Ashley, I am 22 years old from PA. I am currently in college and am graduating next spring. I would really like to lose 20 pounds before the school year starts back up and I am planning on moving to Arizona for grad school next year so I would love to find someone motivated to lose about 20 pounds as well and who would be willing to keep in touch on a long term basis so we can monitor one another and motivate each other to continue to stay healthy. I weigh about 165 right now and would like to weight 145. I am in a wedding in August in Cali and really want to look good. If you're interested drop a line. I think weekly weigh-ins are a great motivational factor.
Hey all! It has been a busy week so far and I was not near a computer on Monday, I was at the beach. Here goes:
SW: 165

Getting closer... Honestly I have been sort of slacking off on exercise this past week or so and am surprised I was actually able to lose anything. I am dating a new guy who keeps taking up more and more of my time and it is getting harder and harder to find the time to get to the gym... Plus, going out to eat a lot is not great either, although he is very into being healthy and in shape and so we usually choose healthier restaurants, I am sure cooking is still usually better. Last night we went out to a not-so-healthy place, Cafe Tutu Tango, but still ordered marginally healthy: tuna sashimi, grilled salmon, hummus... Not terribly bad for me but it is hard to be sure when you don't know the calories. The worst thing I did was have 2 glasses of wine... I will go to the gym tonight for an extra hard workout to make up for it. Have a good rest-of the week! Keep up the good work!
CW: 70kg
GW: 60kg
Lots to lose still but at least things are moving in the right direction. Last week was CRAZY. Having visit from the States was good, but as expected the diet was not the healthiest. I was trying but me and my husband were the only ones not wanting fast food. But WALKING made up for bad food....we went all over, and even did ALL of Paris (not really but quite a bit) in just 2 days...haha! So...here, I am back to work and really lacking motivation today!

Same as last week. I didn't lose or gain which is ok for one week. I have not been as highly motivated this past week but am turning that around as of today and going to the gym this afternoon with my sister. It is just hard to make time for exercising when you are busy. I have been eating healthy for the most part. Yesterday I had a late breakfast at Starbucks of oatmeal with skim milk, went to the beach, had a banana while there, then a late-ish lunch of an egg white omlet with spinach, onions, and turkey, then dinner at around 8 at chilis, I had combo fajitas ate 2 1/2 of them. I feel good overall about I ate yesterday but just have to keep it up. Thats the hard part. :-)
I hope everyone has a great and productive week! Stay motivated, the feeling of success is so worth all the hard work. (Not to mention the benefits of seeing results)
Hi all... I realize that Im a bit late since you guys have been doing this for quite a while but I would love to join in!! Im a 23 yr old mother of 2 from NY. I have been a member of CC since January 2008 but Ive been on and off with the whole weight loss thing. I recently had my 2nd baby (exactly 4 months ago today) and I have managed to lose all the pregnancy weight plus an extra 11lbs but I have yet to reach my goal weight. I have my cousins wedding coming up on Aug 29th so Im kinda using that as a mini goal. Im hoping that this can help me stay motivated because I sure dont do so well on my own!! lol
