need Chalean Extreme workout partner-please start with me!!!
I'm a complete newbie to weight/resistance training. Did much reading and know I need to make this part of my fitness regimen.
After rapid weight gain (20 pounds) early this year due to medication I have managed to drop 15 pounds thru strict nutrionous diet (thanks CC) and intense cardio 2-3 times a day to rev my metabolism. Now I'm down to my previous 20 pounds overweight and still trying to fight the good fight. Hard as hell!
I now do cardio for average of 5 hours a day and the scale is at a standstill. Need to incorporate weight training program but don't have the willpower to stick to a program on my own. please be my buddy. Let's start together.
I just got the program have you started it yet. I would love to have partner. Just let me know.

No I haven't started because I don't trust myself to follow thru on my own when it get's tough or life get's busy. Always an excuse. Happy to hear fromyou. A partner will keep me accountable. When do you want to start?

Hi Latasha and fit2bthin2! Have you started Chalene Extreme yet? I watched the burn basics Monday night and band basics (I'm waiting for weights to be shipped). I need to start this and would like to have a partner or two to keep me accountable. The last post says you wanted to begin this past Monday. How'd it go? What time do you work out? My only option is at night after I put the kids to bed which makes it hard, but I've done it before so I just have to recommit.

Your welcomed to join us. We're both doing Chalean Mon/Wed/Fri. I did my first workout on Monday. Will do the 2nd tonight. I did really light weights the first day because i just wanted to focus on technique. Didn't feel anything the day after but today I'm sore all over! Guess I'm doing it right.
Let's email thoughout the week and keep each other on track with getting our workouts in.
I just ordered it the other day, I'm hoping to get it next week by Friday but with the holiday and weekend im not sure...i am excited--i did p90x last spring but stopped because i just felt bigger, no less fat on me. Definitley more defined though. I am hoping to follow chaleans diet plan better as well. I am a runner too and had been running 7-14 miles a day over the summer, and with the winter coming and it being dark around 430pm, i need something new and can be done inside (not a treadmill, hate those).But recently i have lacked the motivation to do anything, i work at night and am always so tired! so i figured, if i spend money on something, ill make myself do it!
I would definitley love a couple people to motivate me as well, I just can't join you all until next week the earliest. Good luck!!
